This weekend's race will be on television.

I live about 15 miles from the Bristol track and with a minimum of planning I can totally avoid any inconvenience at all during the two race weeks while welcoming the multiplied millions of dollars that the fans deposit into our economy.

They don't publicize numbers of arrests during Race Week, that I have seen; but last weekend at a two day music even in downtown Johnson City, there were 86 arrests. Oddly enough, there was an interview with a beer distributor who offered that on a normal weekend he would stock 15-20 kegs for the bars, but was delivering 140 for that weekend.

Shrub’s a good driver. It will be interesting to see if he can keep up his wins working for a different team. I’d like to see him go RCR. He’s a touch wild, but he’s a great driver.... hmmmm...
