For your TDF ping list.
This story keeps getting weirder and weirder.
I try to like Landis but this makes him look terrible.
This is a mostly French sport. Who cares? What’s the latest curling news?
I can’t stand Lemond, and think that he’s a very jealous, small person. That said, this testimony (coupled with Landis’ manager’s apology) is pretty damning.
Another weird story about Lemond.
Did I read LeMond testified that Landis admitted to taking drugs and Landis's manager was strong arming LeMond?
Can this story get any more detailed. Man.
I know a lot of men who were molested as kids who are very grateful to LeMond right now for having the guts to admit to the world that he was molested. The majority of people who have had this happened to them, never do.
To most men who were molested, it’s too shameful and embarrassing a thing to admit.
Interesting selection of words...
So the essense of the relevance is that what Lemond has testified to would be leaked to prevent his testimony? That’s what I get out of this story. I thought this was about doping and not whether somebody was molested 40 years ago.
rolling eyes...
What do you think of this turn of events? LeMond looks a little kooky from that article referenced in post 6, but that’s a long way from lying under oath.
In my opinion LeMonde is a very bitter man. I really don’t know why, however. He was a Champion who scaled great adversity. He doesn’t like Lance, who also scaled great adversity. I just don’t know what is going on between LeMonde and everyone else.
I’m looking at past articles and LeMond was calling for Landis to “come clean” before the B sample was tested. To top it off the drugs in question aren't supposed to work in one day. It's maddening.
I’m 100% American and I love following cycling news. Now, baseball I couldn’t care less about, same with basketball. Yet I’m crazy about tennis, surfing and hockey.
Not everyone has to follow your rigid rules of Sports Americans Should Love.

If I was to guess, I'd say it's because for a decade and a half, he was THE famous American cyclist. Then along came Lance, who not only blew Lemond's accomplishments out of the water, but became a MUCH bigger celebrity (and much richer) than Lemond ever dreamed of being.
America formed baseball, but baseball gives rebirth to traditional America. Cycling isn’t a sport, it’s a means of transportation. I don’t cheer for the fastest bus driver, either; I’m sure some of them are on drugs, so I am always careful when I pass them. Children don’t compete in cycling, and they never would have come up with those gay little shorts and hats.
Kids playing soccer in summer will ruin this nation.
I agree with you about soccer, but baseballl..man, that has got to be THE most boring game I have ever seen!
I watched the Dodgers in the World Series (on TV) many years ago, and the game lasted forever, with very little action, unlike hockey.
And bicycling isn’t a sport? I defy you to watch a mountain bike race and not tell me that, or the Tour de France as the Peleton screeches around a hairpin turn...it is indeed a sport!
