You should have seen America’s Funniest Videos last night. Someone was trying to bathe a cat and the cat fought all the way, distinctly yelling “NO! NO! NO!” over and over.

Presented with a full bathtub, you are offered a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket and asked to empty the tub. Which do you choose?

None. Just pull out the bath plug. Was that correct?

I didn’t think that people from Mass knew anything about weapons.

You don’t think a Republican would go around unarmed in Massachusetts, do you?

We actually have a few gun store left. Mass. is passing the stupidest expletive laws making you keep your gun in one county and ammo in the next. Otherwise we have concealed carry. I have had guns since I was 11 and that was a long time ago.

Predictably, you almost never meet a Democrat gun owner here. They bought the scam.

I have had CCWs in 2 states; NY and PA. NY has some tough and ridiculous gun laws. CA for some reason will not issue a CCW unless you are wealthy or have political clout. I know that MA has some strange gun laws. I had to write a letter asking permission to transport through MA on my way to be stationed in ME. Route of travel and expected time and travel dates had to be provided. What a mess.

Mass. is very weird. Each TOWN is different. My town allows CCW; it’s all it issues and it’s hard NOT to get a license. Another town has a no issue policy. Not even its off-duty police officers can't get a license. But if I hang out in that town all the time, it’s okay.

Interesting. Because of some of the work that I do, I do an open carry while in uniform. However, if I were out of uniform, I could do an open carry but the weapon cannot be loaded. Of course I know that I would be stopped numerous times and maybe even arrested because of the anti-gun mentality here.

In Mass, open carry can be considered assault. In other states you have to pay extra to conceal. Otherwise open carry is the norm.

Besides my Mass license, I have a NH one because no other state accepts MA licenses, disagreeing with its gun laws. Many accept NH’s due to its more liberal gun laws. I can’t make sense of that.

Recently I bought a book on US States’ gun laws and it is humorous reading (sarcasm). You can bring your gun through NY state, just don’t stop for more than gas or potty. LOL!

I plan to retire in AZ where it is acceptable to open carry. I am going to apply for a CCW once I get settled. AZ honors the other 37 states that issue CCWs.

That’s a good plan. Friends have left MA for greener pastures and friendlier people. Two have left for more intelligent gun laws.
