Virgie needs to keep her wits about her - if Larry fails to get custody - someone needs to be there as backup.

You’re entitled. I am also totally exhausted.
Several thousand posts back I sniped about “Howard and Larry walking off into the sunset”.....This drama has always been about a group of people totally foreign to my own, (and I suspect, other FReepers’) life experience that it is hard to empathize.
Virgie is closer to my age etc., so I identified with her...I cannot imagine the grief of losing a daughter and grandson and not being allowed to see or hold a granddaughter because of some sociopath, leeching, freeloading, squatter, drug enabler.
Now I must go shopping with my own hard-earned assets.

Those of us who have followed this story from the beginning and developed accurate personality profiles of the players suspected that LB was bisexual.
ANS liked gay men as she found them non-threatening. I believe HKS is gay as well. It was HKS that originally hired LB to be the “official ANS photographer” and he would have felt more comfortable with a gay man in the inner circle.
Within months of the 2004 Trimfast Summer bus tour, if we believe LB, ANS and LB were intimate. Was it to father a child as the ultimate goal? Or...were they truly attracted to one another and LB is bi-sexual?
OR... was a homosexual affair (if one happened) experimentation and he is truly not bi and is heterosexual?
We may never know the answers to these questions as there is so much motive to “lie” for $$$$ and we know that the parties involved are not above playing hardball and fast and loose with the truth.
Sadly the accusation that LB gay, bi, heavy partier, social climbing, aspiring Hollywood star would explain why LB became deeply involved in the ANS dysfunctional Circus for 19 months.
LB and HKS both have a lot of secrets about one another and that is why they are now watching each others backs. Grandma is trying to unearth these secrets as she wants to take both of them out.
We are going to witness one of the nastiest, dirty dealing, mudslinging fights we have every seen.

Praise God!! I’ve changed many a woman’s minds (most who never intend on having babies and could care less but are rabid animal rights people, go figure) that we put puppies down in a more humane way. They do usually concede.
That is one beautiful baby. I mean my kids were gorgeous and all, but seriously, she is like Gerber baby pretty.
The baby is truly gorgeous and ANS made no secret that she wanted a blonde “pretty” baby.
Did the always scheming ANS choose LB for his genetics?
I have followed this story from the beginning too. We can speculate all we want about why LB was with Anna, who did what and why. Larry is the father and he should have a chance to prove he’ll be a good father to her. How can you be called unfit when you never had the chance to be a father to begin with?
IF the inner circle KNEW Larry was gay, BI or whatever ... why wait til now to reveal it? They could have tried to sway public opinion from backing LB in the first place. If the majority of the public had not been behind Larry I don’t think a paternity test would have been done this fast ... if at all!
I just use common sense and remember that timing is everything. That puts a lot of this in perspective.
The eternal optimist is looking for the potential “silver lining” in this ever growing manure pile of disgusting human behaviors.
In Kentucky is a family and they appear to be ROCK SOLID committed Southern Baptists and are responsible for the GOOD things we have seen in Larry Birkhead.
It sounds like LB needs to forget Hollyweird and get back to his ROOTS...home to Kentucky and to his parents and siblings who are living committed Christian lives.
Is LB the prodigal son who got led astray somewhere on the path?
Wow, this would not be good either for his custody case.

HKS may have left that sword sheathed because it was always available to him to use later. IF we are to believe appearances he has already swayed LB to the dark side so he doesn’t need to produce evidence of his sexuality if he possesses any (And i fully suspect that he does because HKS always seemed to have a camera trained on everyone).
Additionally, outing a closeted gay when you are a closeted gay may not have been the most productive chess move for HKS.
These are crowded closets with many skeletons in every room of everyone’s house.
Even if the Bi/Gay tag sticks and imcriminating pics end up on the scene I still think LB is the right person... but I am beginning to think that that precious baby’s future would be best served with LB living in Kentucky with his family.
Maybe we should step back a bit here. Most here thought from the beginning that Larry was intelligent, pretty straight-forward and right-minded in his quest to get his child. I give him the full benefit of the doubt that he’s making his own decisions pretty wisely and is in no way under some untoward influence from Howard. I think Larry can discern the truth, and we know both Howard and Larry know a whole lot more about ANS and her mother than we do.
He never, ever said he thought Howard was evil, has known him pretty well, and to me, Larry’s words and actions speak volumes. Also, Larry has no reason to tread carefully around Howard. Larry is in the driver’s seat. This thing is playing out as I expected. Most of the tabloid crap is coming from either/and peripheral people who want their 15 min. of fame and those working on Virgie’s side, IMO.
You are right, the timing is very suspicious isn’t it?
I think LB is the right person and I had heard these rumors when he first came out about Dannielynn even before Anna gave birth. My concern is him getting that child from HKS. At least her name is Birkhead now...you know people with the last name of Smith end up dead around Stern.
