HK$ might be more upset about other things in the book than the tape (he reportedly attended gay pride parades and gay bars that hardly would appeal to a straight guy) but this will do for a lawsuit and hope of settlement.

They wanted a retraction from Dana Pretzer by a certain date or they were going to sue. He says he didn’t say anything he just let his guest talk and he could not and would not retract a guests statements. He invited HKS and Lin Wood to come on his program and they declined.

I’m stunned & disappointed in this weird development - have been cheering both Rita and Mr.C. Cannot imagine what set this off! Maybe the nannies are still scared and have no way to prove their claims. They were *illegal* workers while with Anna. Perhaps Shane Gibson helped them out and then influenced/silenced them on HK$’ behalf. Although I cannot see Mr.C. going along with that deception. Maybe Mr.C is holding out for Big $$$ from US media (?).
Don’t have a clue - it could be just a conflict of personalities, language barriers and territory. Here’s hoping it gets resolved in favor of truth - the only way to get justice.
Goes to show what a brave soul Rita Cosby is. Hope Greta will give her fair shake. I will not be watching LK. Seeing HK$ present his spin, makes one feel like taking a long, long shower.
Looking for the truth in this mess is certainly elusive at best.
I hope Rita really did a good job of vetting this book like she claims. Frankly I am a little concerned. She needs to get her side of the story out there ASAP, her silence is worrisome. Maybe the media doesn’t want her on their programs for fear of law suits.

IMO Greta is losing her focus...she is talking over her guests, rambling and repetetive. Even Gloria Alred demanded & finally got an apology.
She has waffled weirdly on the Natalee Holloway case. Maybe that’s unbiased inquiry - but it sure is confusing.

I have seen Rita Cosby on only a couple of shows and she was not given enough time to present her case.

Think I agree with Lizarde - I need a break - this is like watching the 2000 & 2004 POTUS elections!!!! You know what’s right, the media is cowardly and there’s nothing you can do about it.
I’ll try to see what ET does on the Rita-in-The-Bahamas story tonight and maybe I’ll know more. They only give The Insider the crumbs and scraps - ET gets the money shots.
It was a shameless plug for Larry King with his 8-yo and 9-yo boys, playing catch in the backyard, today. And one of his young trophy wives, too, natch. More of the build-up to HKS’s LKL appearance tomorrow, for sure.

I agree. I can hear the war drums beating now...hate, lies, and spin. That’s all HKS has. I don’t think Greta thought much of Rita’s book, so I’m getting ready for a Rita bashing.
Rte66, I also think Rita was setup. I’m hoping it wasn’t as bad as I’ve read and it’s a lot of spin.
Btw, this is the nicest place that I’ve found to post at in a long time. So many nice, thoughtful people.
