Prayers up for Kelley! Sounds a bit nasty. Hope all goes well and yes, Jr needs her.

Random thoughts:
-How does Robot draw #1 two weeks in a row?
- Looks like the Big Brown Truck won a reprieve; DJ will still have 2 past-champ provisionals when they leave Bristol.
- If NAPA doesn't dump Mikey soon, I don't think they'll survive as a company.
- I'm hoping a bunch of field-fillers and field-filler potentials step up this week to drop the sidelined Mini-Sauter out of the top 35, because if they don't do it now, they'll never Git-R-Done.

This will almost certainly be the only race FRJoe misses. 15 of the 22 drivers below the #13 that qualified for the race have to have knock-out races to push him down to 36th, and they're using 2007 points starting next week.

Check my last; the #13 will be in the Martinsville field. The only team below 35th that can catch them is the #9, and thanks to Mini-Sauter also choking, the #13 will still be in the top 35 when everybody leaves Bristol.

Yes he does need her, she is the strong one.
In reading the spin from Max at DEI who says the negotiations are going well and listening to Jr saying they hadn't talked lately and now won't until Kelley gets well makes you wonder.
He can talk to other teams who may be interested after the date in my tagline. So time is of the essense.

Yark!! spelling bee queen It could be worse; you could be a major house of presstitutes whose IT people can't even spell the name of the company right (discovered in a look at the logs for my blog).

I'd be sad to see Junior leave the company that carries his father's name, but he also can't live for a ghost. If he feels it's right for him to leave, then he should do so without looking back. Another chance might come along someday for him to take over the company. In the meantime, he has his own life to live.

Whom is the dweb in the suite on ESPN. I hope Rusty can save this company Steeve... Don't look at me; I've been calling them the East Coast Media Cabal all college B-ball season. Besides, if there's two inanimate objects I hate, it's cameras and microphones.

if there's two inanimate objects I hate, it's cameras and microphone Many years ago I was asked to open the local Bowl for Kids fund raiser and I said, You Bet. I got to the Bowling Ally and there were three TV cameras and 2 radio stations plus the print press. I was asked to say a few words. Everything is a little fuzzy after that request.
The head of the Boys and Girls Club made the evening news I was told...

JMO
He really wants to work this out, but it IS important to him and Kelley that the company be run so it IS competitive. Full steam ahead and man the torpedos, no more absentee stuff and not having the cars running as well as the top teams.
Things would have to go way south for him to bail out early.
It's also important to him to have the Budweiser 8 car and and it's been written that Teresa won't let the number go. She would have no choice with Budweiser, Tony Eury Sr and Jr and Truex when his contract is up - all will go. Plus a whole lot of other folks will go if he goes.
