Yes she is still in jail ...She has life without parole if I remember correctly. She was also transfered to a NY state prison for women for some reason. She had been from NH where the crime was committed. A few movies & books were written about her & the trial. From what I can remember she claimed she had no part in the murder but I think the boys turned on her . There were a few of them who helped the boy she was having sex with.

I don't intend to suggest that she didn't deserve to be shot, too. That depends. I want to see her picture first.

While I don't advocate the death penalty, if teenagers over the age of 14 faced criminal prosecution for these affairs, The "boy" was 18 years old. What crime did he commit that warranted criminal prosecution?
While having an affair with a married woman may be morally repulsive, it's not a crime.

sounds like self defense to me..the wife sounds like a real piece of work

He didn't commit a crime. He was just dumb IMO. I feel bad he is dead, the husband in jail and the s!ut of a wife is out. So many lives ruined and for what? Prayers for all involved. This woman has much to be ashamed about. I wonder how she is explaining to the children why daddy is in jail....Someday she will have much explaining to do if they are too young to understand now. Notice she got herself all lawyer-ed up already?

I did. The 18 year old did not commit a crime.

If you robbed a bank or shot someone, they would not hesitate to throw you in jail. Why should this be an exception? I'm OK with that, and it would reinforce that they are not really victims.
A mature teenage boy can not be the victim of an attractive older woman -- unless there were serious extortion going on, which is another matter altogether.

Sleep with my wife and there will be two dead bodiesA smarter move would be: sleep with my wife and you get to keep her

Poston said McLean is in a "state of shock. Like watching a deer caught in the headlights. Literally wondering, 'Have I made a decision that will ruin the rest of my life as well as others?'"
Uhhh .... The answer to that would be YES

The husband shot this kid in the head in the kid's car - that's crazy any way you look at it. I'm not condoning adultery, but the husband's "reaction" was totally insane. Most people just get a divorce.

What if I told you that the best thing to get rid of a cheating wife is to divorce her and let her live her miserable life without you!?
