do you get 10 points for leading a lap AND 10 for most laps led? About 190 mph if you're streamlined, 120 mph if you're trying to flap your arms and legs. :-)

What did ya think of the race here? Not bad for a new track, IMO. Did you get into the Neon Garage?
At least it didn't snow this year!

In a few races, we'll be rid of the scourge that is Toyota in Cup. Not that I'm a huge fan of Toy, but I'd keep an eye on that 'scourge'.
What happens when Toy buys GMC and Ford?

Not bad. I can't figure why I'm not in 17th place?
Oh man, do I have to share my steak with Bo now?
I think I want to go back to being undisputed loser... no pressure, and the food was better.

Keep in mind, I still hold the overall league record for the most places lost in a single week for drivers intentionally picked...
26 places straight down!

the nicest part of not being in the league this year besides the frustration of not picking weekly drivers well,
I can enjoy the race for the few drivers I always want to do well...

That last phantom debris changed the entire race.
That crap is getting old. If a few of the stars are going to run out of gas because they made foolish decisions, let them run out of gas.
I'm not surprised at any of the stunts that NASCAR pulls any more, whether it's fishy calls on debris, cautions, inconsistent rule enforcement, etc.
I think the stands reflect a lot of fan disenchantment. They can try and gloss over the empty seats, and they can paint the seats different colors, but when you are watching on HD, you can see that a ton of seats are empty. There are tracks that fill the seats, especially out west, but like today, there were a lot of empty seats. I think people are getting fed up or it's too expensive or both.

There have been 95 Nextel Cup races at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
I hate to be picky, but this is a pet peeve. There have been 7 Nextel Cup races in Atlanta. The remaining races were all Winston Cup races.
By the way, I was there today, and it was a fantastic race.

The same can be said when I watch the race without the computer. I went straight up 26 places 2 races ago. I thought Glock was playing tricks on me and I would wake up with the mother of all hangovers...

I like Smoke fine - but he drove himself into the wall. What is is problem? I thought he had caged his demons. I'm not a Tony fan, but I actually think Tony did the 'right' thing.
Tony knew Jimmy had the faster car but Jimmy had not cleared Tony completely and Tony went high to avoid wrecking him which is exactly what would have happened if Tony would not have lifted and given him room.
If Tony would not have lifted and went high as far as he could, Jimmy's right-rear would have made contact with Tony's left-front and that would have turned Jimmy around and Tony more than likely would have driven straight to the finish line.
