My daughter just called and she said we’re getting a little water down by the sump-pump. I have large boxes of my paintings near-by, so she’s going to check on it later and take her sweety-friend with her in case they have to move the boxes into another room. Not too worried about the paintings, but would hate to lose those frames. :(

It’s still raining up that way and don’t know how long it’s supposed to last. I see they’re calling for outside volunteer help for one town up there because of the flooding. There are some dams in trouble too I guess.

Yeah...remember the days when you could buy name brand discount shoes for almost nothing? Well I could anyway with my size 4 dancing feet, lol.

It’s the truth about sprucing up alright. One thing always leads to another. I used to be able to keep on truckin, but now I always give out before a lot of it gets done or it takes three times as long.

Doesn’t matter what I wear Derly, body exposure calls for fainting by men and wimmen alike now. Sighhhhhhhhh....

Need to do some more prep work for the Shrimp Scampi we’re having for supper. I know, I know..shouldn’t be eating pasta, but I have to get rid of the shrimp somehow and Scampi sounded good and also light compared to what we’ve been eating lately.

Weather in southern MA is expected to break Friday or Saturday and shoot into the 60s with practically pure sun.

If they had some cement blocks, the boxes of paintings could go onto them.

If your forecast is like ours, blooms are going to explode with extreme violence when the sun comes out!!

I got my first batch of stuff yesterday, including 5 pairs of shoes and 2 BE make-up brushes. One of the pairs of shoes didn't work out so well. They were mismatched sizes. The lady felt very bad about it and refunded my payment immediately and doesn't want the shoes back. I suppose the one that fits will be good if I ever have a cast on my right foot. Come to think of it, I may have tio have some "work" done on my right foot very soon...like as soon as I get around to going to the doctor about it. Somewhat surprisingly, I absolutely LOVE my 2 pairs of Birkenstocks Shhhh....we don't want want Nully to hear. He has "issues" about Birkenstocks LOL! I got Dawn a pair of them, too. She does better with flat shoes than I do...considering she's got about 7 - 8 inches on me.

I’m dying to enjoy swimsuit shopping, but then I wonder if that ever happens. I don’t remember liking to shop for swimsuits even when I had a darn near perfect body. Of course, at the time I didn’t think so.

We've been getting a LOT of rain here, as well. It was actually beautiful yesterday afternoon, but now it is threatening to rain again. In fact, there was a little drizzle off and on just before I got home. I was worried I might have to finish out the day barefooted so as to avoid soiling my new shoes.

Oh, not the ones I got! They are gorgeous! I don't like the boring, ugly ones. They'd have to be hot for me to wear flats, and I must admit, they are some of the most comfortable shoes I've ever had on my feet. I hope the image link works. Looks okay on this end, but you know how that goes.

Here's the other pair. Not quite as flashy, but attractive nevertheless. I also ordered narrow in both, so the "flat-footed" look common to the brand isn't quite so pronounced.
