Nice thought, but lately I'm doing good to find time to sleep, and not much when I do. I will be so glad when we are fully staffed again. This intensity level is WAY too stressful.

Gotta get to bed now. I can't hold my eyes open.
Night, Nully.

Poor girl. :( I hope every hour of sleep you get feels more like two. Sounds like you need the extra rest. Hang in there Sweets, good vibes being sent your way! Take care of yourself.

Thanks. Derly. There does appear to be some relief on the horizon. In a couple of weeks, we should be fully staffed and I should be doing just investigations. That will make a HUGE difference in my stress level. I don’t do well with deadlines and multi-tasking, so it will be nice not to have to do two jobs and the work of 3 people.

Barely. And I have to get up very early to go to Little Rock in the morning, and probably won’t be back until late tomorrow night. This is getting really old. Then today, the other worker who has held down the fort with me said that she is looking for another job. She recently inherited two young grandchildren and she lives nearly an hour away. The stress is really getting to her, too. I hope she’ll change her mind. She is a great coworker.
I had no weekend. Spent the whole thing stressing over and working on that affidavit. The acting supervisor said it was the best she’d read in a very long time. That made me feel a little better. Anyway, it was good enough to get the judge to sign the order. These kids should’ve been out of that home (if you can call it that) a LONG time ago.

Good morning everyone. Is it ok if I post a goodnight pic in the morning? ;)
We're starting to gather stuff to pack up for leaving. We have rezzies for the 8th.

Oh, Grannie,
One man’s sunset is another man’s sunrise — or woman as he case may be.
You sure did a beautiful pic there, that could be up in the High Uintas, or Custer S.D., or Montana, or Colorado or Wyoming... Anywhere looking east.

It’ll be nice when things finally ease up on you as far as work goes....then you can spend more time in here with us! :)
To: restornu
I love those old family grocery stores. It’s such a shame they’re a thing of the past. I really hate walking miles of aisles just to find one or two items. On the bright side, I get a good workout!
To: grannie9
That’s beautiful, Gran! Wish our sunrises out here look liked that! Have a safe trip to wherever you’re going. Hopefully it’s warm and balmy too. :)
To: derllak
Where she’s going it is VERY warm...

Well, well...look what the cat dragged in who showed up. Like as not you'll be trying to blame on absence on packing.
