Anna Nicole Smith collapsed in her hotel room at the Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood, Fla., and was rushed to a hospital on Thursday. A Hollywood, Fla., fire department spokesman told MSNBC TV that the actress was unresponsive when the rescue unit arrived on the scene.
Sources confirmed to Access Hollywood that Smith was transported to Memorial Regional Hospital shortly after 2 p.m. EST on Thursday. Access Hollywood also is reporting that Smith was intubated at the scene.
Officials told the Miami Herald, "it does not look good."

Your honor, as official "mouthpiece" for Lizarde, i put forth to you two arguments in her defense.
First of all, there was no written or expressed rule that anyone, my client included could not eat orange food on Anna Day.
Secondly, we plead the Cheeto Defense, that being that my client is suffering from ANNAdiction for which she is self medicating with Cheetos which is a FritoLay product. And we ask that you consider this in your final ruling.

Anna Nicole Smith, her coffin covered with a rhinestone-studded blanket and her portrait on the church altar, was mourned by family and friends Friday during a funeral service before a white limousine took her body to the cemetery.

Smith's casket was closed and the pews were festooned with pink flowers, said Yvonne Gibson, one of the guests. There were fewer than 100 guests, even though an organizer said about 300 — including an "Entertainment Tonight" camera crew — had been invited.
The TV program reported on its Web site that guitarist Slash of Guns N' Roses was among the guests, and country singer Joe Nichols had been expected to sing two songs requested by Smith's boyfriend, Howard K. Stern: "I'll Wait for You" and Dolly Parton's "On the Wings of a Dove."
