The storm hasn’t gotten here yet, this morning. Looks like it’s on the way tho.

Good Morning.

Looks like the last nice day, then rain for the next 3. It has been pretty warm and dry, so we were due.

...saw reports of 4 1/2 inch hail in Oklahoma...

Jeez Louise! That would kill anything caught out in it! It'd knock holes in most roofs too. I hope I never see hail that big, EVER!

I just saw your weather report. Looks like there's not much way it can miss you, it's a big long line of storms. Batter down your hatches! What's the forecast for the weekend!

We may or may not be around today, we've got to take the truck up to the shop in Gig Harbor... the starter we just put in it may be bad... sometimes when we try to start it grinds instead of starting. Anyhow, we'll be at the beach house most of the day, and not sure if we'll get online or not!

We were supposed to go on a trail ride tomorrow with Bob... but he just realized Jessie doesn't have school, so he can't go. Instead, he wants us to come down and help him fit a saddle to Kat. He's got several he wants to try. And he needs to see her worked. I'll probably lunge and ride her. She hasn't been worked at all, he was feeding her a lot thinking she needed to gain weight, and he said she's hotter than a pistol. He's cut her back but he's nervous about putting Jessie on her right now, and he's never actually seen her ridden, so he's not wanting to just go on my word alone that she's broke to death. Instead of being a 19 year old slow arthritic horse, she's running around feeling great. I think it's great if she's feeling that good, and Bob just doesn't doesn't know how broke she really is till he's sees her worked.

She's not going to forget everything over a winter off, she just might need a tune up.

I agree with you, she’s probably fine, but I don’t blame Bob for wanting to put someone else on her first:) Since you know her, it shouldn’t be a problem for you.

Yeah, the storm is just about here, I’ve gotten some rain, but I think the big stuff is just getting here. The forecast for the weekend right now, (it changes about every hour), is pretty good chances of scattered showers all weekend:\ I’m just praying that I can just get saddled and timed out with it not raining. If it rains while I’m out on trail, I can deal with that, but saddling at 6-7 in the morning in a downpour....just doesn’t sound fun:).

My schedule for today has changed a bit. I’m gathering up the stuff to pack in the trailer this morning, got my portapotty ready, and my water barrel loaded. It looks like once this line of storms goes thru we’ll be in the clear for a while, nothing behind it. So I’ll just ride later to day.

Well, I hope this line of storms is just a lot of noise and showers, nothing too bad.

You take care with the storm coming in - doesn’t sound like something you want to be caught out in the open in.

It sounds horrendous to me. The biggest hail I’ve ever seen is about pea sized I think.

Baseball sized hail has got to be killer sized. I can’t imagine anything surviving that coming down.

We’ve had golf ball sized hail here and it weren’t fun! All the car dealers had to have a big dent sale because all their cars looked like golf balls.

Ouch. Even golf ball sized would cause some serious injury.

No one was seriously hurt and the big stuff was in a small area. Most of the city got al least marble size though.
Oh well, I’m doing my yearly storm check. I’m a little behind. I have someone putting new boards in my trailer, just in case I have to get the critters out of here.

We haven't gotten anything but rain today. I'm still hoping it clears up so I can ride a bit this evening. Between showers, I worked in my garden. The grass grows in it so fast that I needed to get it all hoed up before I leave or it would have been a jungle by the time I got home. I took some pictures and looking thru them to load I came across two pictures from the other day working with Harley that I thought were pretty good, so I loaded them too:) This one I just think Harley looks pretty cool:)

This one I liked because of my conversation with lester over on the horse forum....it was a discussion on horses bracing against the line. I liked seeing all the slack in the line as he went around.

Now some garden pictures. Hair, my impatiences has grown quit a bit already. Alot of the bigger annuals haven't bloomed yet but they are close.

Your garden is beautiful - maybe when I retire I’ll get something done with my yard.

I don’t know what you are doing but it looks cool. I’m going to study it later. Right now I just want in my car. After over an hour with a screw driver and a cloths hanger I really came <> this close putting a brick thru the window. I still may if Pop a lock doesn’t get here fast.

What, the garden or the horse? :)

OH, are you locked out of y our car? I’m sorry, that is so frustrating to do.
