Those are great pictures. Ahem - you’ve lost a lot of length on your hair and a lot of you - are you okay? Don’t misunderstand, you look great :)
I am so anxious to see pictures of Bodie - it sounds like he’s doing well. Glad you all had a good ride.
Hey.
Hey yourself :) How ya doing? And how is work going? Are you getting any time to get to the stables?
My project is over. I’m off tomorrow day. I’m going to Walmart to pick up film, and go to the stables. 2 jobs was the pits:’)
I’m glad to hear the project is over. I did two jobs for a feel months once. A real bummer - no time or energy for anything but work. Looking forward to pictures :)
feel = few (all day has been like this)
Yeah. I saw Tuffy won a few places? :’)
Well, he didn’t exactly win but at least he wasn’t disqualified. And he did behave well, like a gentleman even.
:’) Got pics?
Shoot - yes a couple. I’ve been so busy I haven’t downloaded them but I will. Guess now is as good a time as any.
No hurry. I still owe you some:’)
Lisa's back arab. Last year he was outstanding, this year he is awesome.
See how Tuffy stood up - with his legs way under him.
Stood better at the rail but obviously, his mind wasn't on the show.
Prez - I never did get a good picture of him, and left before his riding classes.
No. She’s gone. Cindy is so bad. She started her usual getting out. After she came back alone she hasn’t got out again. A few days after Cocoa was gone, my son borrowed the lawn mower and left the gate open. I went to check and she was lieing a few feet inside sunning.
He’ll get it figured out:’)
I’m sorry to hear that. Cindy is one sly dog.
Yep. Night.
Thanks, your horses look good too.
I cut my hair off last winter. I just could never figure out what to do with it, and I like it short anyway. I’m fine as far as me...I have lost some weight, but was trying too, I’m not sick. Thanks for noticing:). I’ve lost 33 lbs since last Nov.
Becky
Going to be a beautiful day and I have a full slate. First Doctor's appt., cableman is coming (still having problems), then I am going to plant my garden. Just tomatoes, peppers and the flowers. Just a little stiff from riding, but not too bad.
Great pictures Duchess, Becky and Frog.
It's called a Hoof Jack and I wouldn't ever be without one again. It doesn't clamp or anything, you just rest the hoof in it and either hold it down with one hand while you're rasping with the other or you hold it down with your knee if you're using both hands. It's really a back saver if you've got one that likes to lay over on you, plus you don't have their leg cranked out at such an odd angle like you would when you have their leg clamped between your legs. And if they spook or jerk or anything they're not yanking your leg out from under you when they do it. You can just stand up and step away. It has 2 different infinately height adjustable posts that fit down inside of the hole in the base. One is the cradle that you see in my pictures. It's made to support the hoof with the sole turned up. It has a soft heavy nylon webbing so you don't get pressure points on the coronet band when you're bearing down with your tools. The other has a rubber cap on it and is made to support the hoof with the sole down. The rubber provides a cushion so it's more comfortable and it also keeps the hoof from slipping off so easily. They're pricey (like most good farrier tools are) but they're worth it.
