Well, I say May, but it was the end of May. I went back through my pictures and found this one where I'd just changed the bed out...

Here's a pic of it a month ago when the tulips wre so pretty. The tulips are gone but the pansies look pretty much the same right now...

A lot of it depends on how early it starts getting hot. They pretty much melt in the heat. I think mine were still blooming pretty good when I pulled them out, but they had started looking kinda ratty so I just went ahead and did it. I replaced them with verbena and

Well, I guess I just had a Senior Moment because I totally forgot to finish that sentence. LOL! And now I can't remember what the other stuff I put in there was called! Jeez!

I can't get over how every hair is perfect . . .

Some women would kill for that hair! He grows so much of it, swimming in the lake everyday I guess helps.

Shelley with the bird she got by her own unaided efforts.

Good job Shelley! Funny about Porter and the duck. Those big brave boys sure don't like those duck pecking at them.

You mean that dog actually gets to go outside?! I would’ve figured that they’d keep him inside in a body stocking all the time to keep his coat protected. I’m glad to hear that he actually gets to have a life.

Oh yeah, he runs up and down the mountain and plays in the lake everyday. Muscle tone is as important as coat in a sporting dog.

He's definitely got the muscle tone. I can see the structure under the coat, esp. in the ribcage and thigh.

They sure do love running up and down and playing in the water. My new pup is absolutely mad for water - she fluffs up her hackles when she sees the river . . . of course, she fluffs up her hackles when I throw her a bumper . . . or if she sees a squirrel . . . or if she's arguing with Shelley over who gets the bone . . . I guess you could say she's a fluffer on little provocation.

My youngest told a girl, when he was about 12 that she had hair like his dog. He meant it as a compliment. She was insulted:’)

My husband is threatening to go duck hunting in the front yard. I’ve got to get some pictures up. He says he knows I’m feeding them or they would have left by now. Two tried to follow me in the house. I don’t know why they show up when they see me and follow me around like that (grin)

I have got to post a pic of Cocoa. I don’t care what her momma is, this dog is not a lab and she’s getting ugly. Yesterday I found cotton all over the yard. She got hold of a pillow that I left on the trampoline. This weekend I had to pick up a bag of yard trash she got into. I was fussing at her and the “enabler” says “she’s got manners. Look, she is sitting right beside you” Yeah she was, as she watched me clean up her mess.

Of course, she was on dry land. In the water it might have been another story.

In water the goose had a distinct advantage. ;~)

Probably embarassed. You know the Korean government apologized, even though the guy had been in this country since he was 8.

They're very sensitive to group criticism.

I think you’re probably right. He just left it very open ended and I wasn’t sure what he wanted me to say!

Yeah - it’s really awkward... and his English isn’t that good, so it makes even small talk a little awkward.
