LOL...oh, sorry:)
Becky
It was his own fault. He needs to be rode like that EVERY weekend, then maybe he'd behave.
How was the ride ?
Any rain?
Well I finally got the video of us racking down the road uploaded, but I can't watch it from here so I don't know how it is, but if you wanna watch it, here's the link...

Here's another 360* shot of the whole grop at the trailhead before we left...

Funny. In the 360, the guys either turned or ducked their heads:')
He'll get there.
The ride was good. Almost 2 hours. I didn't like the bit and was tired of mud, so we came home a bit early. The bit wasn't good mostly because I'm not good with a snaffle...I just never feel that their response is quick enough, but I know it's more because I'm not good with the snaffle. So tomorrow I'm trying one of my old bits that I use to ride him in that he worked good in.
It never rained while I was riding, but was pretty humid, so it could rain later.

Looks good! Hey how did that gaited mule rack on? Did he look smooth? Always wondered how one of those would ride.
The gaited mule was the one next to me on the left in the video. It's hard to tell how smooth she was, but it had a good even 4-beat rhythm to it. I've always heard that even though they're gaited that they're not as smooth as a horse, just because of the way they're built, but I don't know. I've never ridden one.
You shoulda asked! LOL.
Cool videos and pictures. You guys sure are "picking "em and putting "em down" As much as a gaited horse would be fun to ride, I just couldn't ride like that. I like to gawk around too much!
Did Bob go down the steps to the water, also?
I've never seen horses "walk" so fast before:')
Well, our truck is back.... mouse nest in the heater box eliminated. Hopefully, they will not return! :~o
Miss Targets,
I thought it was a great day to ride, but Waylon had different priorities. He kept neighing to the yearlings in the barn and then they would run out to the pasture and neigh back....I had never heard him do that. The BO said that one of the yearlings was hurt last night and that they were comisseratting with one another. Do you think horses really have some sort of "horse language" between them?
Where did your truck go?
Have you decided how you are going to haul him?
Friend Tiff's hubby took it this morning to take the dash apart and clear the mouse nest that was in the vents. Every time we turned the heater on, we got fuzz flying out.
Yuk. Didn't you have a snake under the hood last year.
No - that wasn't me :~)
