I'll bet those poor pigs are still alive, but I'm like you in wondering how the heck they got them stuffed in there like that. I'll bet the guy with the eggs drives VERY carefully!

You both have snow...hhmmmmmm...wonder if it's from the same cold front we are suppose to get in here tomorrow night. Today tho is suppose to be nice.
Harley looked perfect today when I went out to feed. Later this morning I'm going to saddle him and see how he does then, if he's fine I'll ride a bit, if not he'll go to the vet. I'll try to get videos if he's gimpy.

The wind happened before the front with the snow, maybe only 20 minutes I would call strong enough to worry about. As soon as we moved the trucks out into the open, it was pretty much over. It was worse elsewhere, the news has some new tree damage they were showing.
Hey, if you upload the videos, use Photobucket. I can't see anything that's on Youtube. Photobucket is just as easy as Snapfish to use and it lets you do both, plus if you ever post pictures over on the horse.com forum, Photobucket works over there too. Snapfish doesn't. I don't know about Youtube.
I'm with you, I have only a little bit of experience trying to get a pig to do something he didn't want to do, and it wasn't easy...
I am happy to live in a society where our food doesn't arrive that way.
I haven't figured out how to post pics on the horse.com site but I bet I'm fixing to get banned over there anyway.
If those pigs are I find it cruelty to animals they do look like they were put to sleep...
What ever it is no way to treat animals to that guy it was a meal ticket.
This reminds me someone mention PETA they are a world organization, but they don't seem to concern about the methods in Asia!

LOL! Yeah, I gathered that. Accusing that Sonny Garullio of having penis-size issues was pretty darned funny but I'm sure that some of them found it shocking.
Seems like I remember seeing a program a while back on big business pig farming in the U.S. and they use electric shock to kill them. They have these long tongs, kinda like those things people use to pick up trash off the side of the road, and they're electrified and they walk into the pens and grab them by the head with them and it fries their brains, or at least stuns them until they slit their throats. So they may have done something like that to get them into that cage.
I couldn't help it, I swear. My fingers just started typing that and I couldn't stop them. Anyway, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it.

I just had an interesting phone call. Remember the lady I ride with occasionally, Julia, who is a rather timid rider. Well, she was suppose to come ride with Celia and I today. I hadn't canceled with her yet, I'm waiting till I see how Harley is. I did cancel with Celia. Julia rides for shorter times, and easier paces, so if Harley seemed OK in the arena today, I figured Julia and I could still go. And besides it's been so long since she and I have rode, I felt bad canceling with her.
Anyway when she called the other day wanting to know if I would ride with her, she made the comment that she didn't know what Major would do since it had been so long since she rode, she hoped he didn't buck her off. She really has some fear issues, and for some reason, she has just never clicked with Major, even tho she will tell you he's never done anything more then snort at stuff.
Well, she called this morning to say she found an ad in the paper about a horse for sale and she wanted to know if I would mind if she went and looked at it rather then come ride, which really works out great.
She was telling me all about the horse, it's and 18 year old, 14.1, gray Arab gelding. Supposedly kid broke, the seller is an older man who doesn't ride anymore. He keeps it at a boarding stable, and allows kids there to ride it. Anyway she said she thinks this was just meant to be since her trailer is hooked up:), that's a sign:), and she said the size is great, she thinks Major makes her nervous because he is so tall, 15.2-3. I told her if I didn't have to either ride my horse or get him to the vet, I'd have went with her to look. She said the owner told her she could even take the horse home for a week or two on a trial basis, you can't beat that. She'll call and let me know what happens.

The dang mods edited it out and gave me a warning. I broke just about every rule they have on that penis post and really, they should have banned me. I think they are tired of Sonny's crap so they let me stay.
LOL....I missed that one:). I saw your last post on the bits thread, but I thought you were right on in your rebuttals to all his statements:)
