There is very good money in hauling horses, at least from what I've seen that people are paying haulers to deliver horses I've sold.
Good morning, hope you're feeling better.
Fast food is a killer. I just love sausage biscuits and that's where I fall off the wagon. :)
Some days are harder then others. As long as I stay busy, I don't have so much problem. It's when I sit here chatting with you all I have problems:)

But really, any more when I find myself thinking of justifying eating something that I know is not good for me, I suddenly remember how bad I felt last fall/winter. I couldn't hardly get up and walk to the mailbox...it's not just the extra weight either, eating unhealthy just brings on to many other issues besides extra weight. At my age, it's time to consider those things.

I remember what Cathy Bates said in that movie Fried Green Tomatoes...I'm to young to feel this old, and I'm too old to feel young:)...I know just how she feels. There is so much I still want to do, that requires me to feel good physically...so the choice is eat junk and feel like crap and not be able to, or eat healthy and be able to do all the things I want comfortably. For me there is no choice. I won't say never, but I'm sure hoping never again will I let myself go like that again.

I am with you on that! It is hard to beleive that diet can affect you so much but it does. I do not have the achiness I had only a few weeks ago. Even last weekend when I should have been really sore from our ride and rock climbing, I wasn't. I think all those unhealthy chemicals really do affect you and maybe it wasn't so bad when we were younger, but our tolerances are lower now so we feel them more.

Now the garden. The hyacinth is at the end of the rock...just that little bit, and I can smell them when I go out:)

Now the kitchen before.

Now after. Of course all the "frap" is cleaned up, and that helps:)

A close up of one of the barn pictures, I painted the mat board:)

Oh, but one thing I haven't finished is the door pulls. I have to wait for Mack to bring the drill home. We have new ones, you can see them on the upper cabinets by the fridge. I'll do that in the next few days.

Very nice. Those stools add a colorful touch.
Thanks. The stools came out of the office of the doc. that retired.

I like the kitchen a lot! Something I might try is either red (if you can find the right red) handles on the cabinets, and maybe a red border, or a red valence on the window. Something else over there... maybe a rug... just to tie the room together :~)
OH! Blooming trees and flowers! How wonderful, spring is on it's way. The kitchen looks very nice with the accent colors. Amazing, what adding some color will do for a room. Good job. :)
Yeah, I'd like to get a rug...

We already have the handles for the cabinets...they are black and white, the ones on the cabinet next to the fridge...

The valance over the window is new:)..it has red flowers with a black background..I kind of thought it did tie the room together:)

Some nice hardware on the cabinets, would really set it off. Maybe some nice stainless ones. If she got tired of the red, then it would be quite expensive to change the handles again. I do agree on a nice valiance for the window.
Aren't the trees pretty...I wish they lasted longer too...some of them the green leaves are already taking over even before the flowers have all bloomed:(...

In the woods the plum trees are blooming too. Next will be the redbuds, and dogwoods.

I see it now, sorry, and the handles. Those look nice.
Oh - I didn't see it, I was looking at the last picture with the bare window. Nevermind, it is really pretty! That does the trick :~)
I just wanted to comment too, on the pretty pear trees and the garden.... very pretty! I'm looking forward to flowers starting to show up at the stores any day now... as of yesterday, they don't have spring flowers yet, not even pansies yet, just primroses, which I don't like very much.
But here they are up close.

Becky
Your flowers are really perking up too, and I love it when all the trees start to bloom out. We've got pears trees blooming everywhere too and the redbuds are even starting to put out. There's some other kind of pink-flowering tree that's blooming right now too. I don't know what it is but it sure is pretty. That, along with the daffodills that are blooming everywhere, just screams EASTER!
Yeah, you know spring is here when the flowering trees start.

I can't believe you don't have pansies yet...geez them sell them here all winter.

I'm going to have to halt the home redecorating now for a while, so I can get my garden put in....I want too much:)

Waiting here for Harley to finish up lunch, then we are going to go ride a while.
