Hey yall. I try to be non-political here and remove my tag line but no matter who you support this may be so cool. I just was told by some Duncan Hunter people , that his son Sam has signed up to be an ambassador for his Dad on FR. Check it out.
The South Beach snack bars are made with sugar, not artifical sweetners. Artifical sweetners are worse for you then sugar even if they are lower in cal and carbs.

If she'd learn to pony without dragging. She's not lazy, but she has some kind of mental block. When I've tried to lead her from Bay (who walks fast) she just drags and won't trot to keep up. Maybe if I ride again today I'll try it again and show y'all.
Drinking a lot is important. I don't drink anything except for some coffee in the morning, then nothing but water.

Becky
Maybe if you try today ecurbh could walk along in front of her? Maybe she is afraid Bay is going to kick?

The only ponying I've ever done was Dot from Belle, and we use to pony this old old horse at the ranch Jenny I worked on. He didn't keep up well either, and that is a pain. At least I had a horn to use for leverage:)

Well, my lunch break is about over, I've got the kitchen half done...I'm painting the bottom half red the top half a tan color to match the dishes I have. There is a barn on the dishes, so the red is like a barn red. I've got the top half all painted now, and it's the hardest part because of all the cabinets, so it's been a productive morning, so Harley is next on the agenda:) He's saddled, I better get going.

Becky
You're right. I've never used one with two holes ":) More coffee please.
She may be... I was thinking of having him walk behind to help drive her a little when she's dragging... maybe pop her on the butt. :~)
Painting cabinets is tedious... I do hope you're taking project pictures to show us!!!
Okay, I understand that. Being married to a former Federal Wildlife Officer, I have been informed of the federal laws of picking up stuff numerous times :)
Sure thing! :~D Would you like cream?

LOL!! I'll bet you have! He's probably smacked your hand a time or two too, or at least wanted to.

When we go scuba diving, most of the places we go are marine parks, so collecting of any kind is forbidden and subject to a heavy fine, but I sure do have a hard time with that when I see a pretty shell or a piece of coral or something. But so far, the threat of the fine and the possibility of spending the rest of my life in a foreign jail have kept me honest.
Just black, thanks.
Boy yes - he's ranted and raved and smacked my hands more times than I can count.
You aren't supposed to pick up pieces of pumice at Mt St. Helens either... but jeepers folks, there's a few thousand acres of it... I usually give some to tourists to take home.

Becky, did you take any pumice home?
Whatcha in for, drugs?
No.... seashells....
LOL!! Hey, it could happen. Those people are pretty fanatical about that kinda thing. I definately wouldn't wanna find out!
I bought some from the gift shop....a bar of pumice soap to give to Mack:)

I'm back:) it was wonderful...I rode one hour and 5 minutes...I think the horse is fine. He's walking out good, even climbed a couple of hills....I'm thinking his problems were all in his feet, and we've got them fixed now...

Yes, I am taking pictures. I didn't paint the cabinets just the walls around them and between the top and bottom cabinets, altho I'm hoping soon to put up a ceremic tile back splash, but that might be a bit later, so I went ahead and painted it.

Becky
LOL:)

Well that's great about Harley's progress! I think that since he hasn't shown any more signs of soreness you'll probably be safe in stepping up his conditioning schedule any way you'd like. You might still be able to get him in good enough shape to do the April CTR in Arkansas.
Well, I'm really debating that one....Celia and I were talking about that just the other day...It's really going to be a tough decision.

I think I can have him in pretty good shape, barring any problems with him or the weather:). BUT, Ark. is a really really hard ride. And it's just a month away. You really think he could be in the kind of shape he should be to do a really really hard ride...

For ex. You know how I told you that we usually just do the same trails each day just from different directions. Well at Ark, there is this one really really steep climb that is a mile from bottom to top. It's three miles from camp. And we do it on the second day in the direction that you are going UP. So, IOW's you ask the horse to climb this mile after doing 38 miles that are anything but easy. At the top there is a PR, and you're 2 miles from the finish line...

I've seen soooooo many horses get pulled at that point, or horse that just can't make it after that...

I just don't know if he could be in good enough shape to do that in just a months time....Celia doesn't think so,,, and if she doesn't think so it really gives me pause.
