Yeah, you need to get you a little digital that you don't mind taking places with you. But not right this minute! ;o)
I had mine stuffed in my pants pocket while I was climbing around all over those rocks, and in one particularly dicey climb, I shoved it in my sportsbra. LOL! It got a little sweaty in there but it was fine.
I'm still kind of puny and have been shuffling a stack of papers (closed for spring break) and sitting here watching cars get off the expressway thinking they can cut thru the parking lot. About a minute later they head back out. It's follow the leader and we are getting a lot of traffic. The rain is easing up though and we drain fast.
Do you have problems with snakes? What do you do then move them on as you climb?
Hey - more terrific pics! You've got good horses to all get along tied out there.... I'm picturing three horses dragging that little tree a few miles down river if they wanted.

It was a lot longer than this full size... if you want the big one emailed back to you, let me know.
Remember that shot of my better side you took while I was poking a stick in the mud? Well payback time!
They behaved pretty well. Blade kept nosing his half sister Hope and she would squeal at him occassionally. Jake took a nap after unsuccessfully trying to rub the halter off.
LOL!!! Well, I guess I deserved that one.
Too bad I did not have a better zoom.
I was remembering one of Becky's post and was thinking...maybe next time I could put up a welcome sign and set up for coffee or something. It would be a nice community service. A lot of these people including some Spring Breakers couldn't go anywhere. Not today though.. it's about quit and I don't have any coffee and would have to put my shoes and bra on and straighten up around here 1st:')
Yes, we do have lots of snakes, but not at this time of year. That's why I like poking around the woods when the leaves are off. You can see where you're going and there aren't any snakes or bees either. If I saw one while I was climbing, well I guess I'd be rolling back down the hill dead of a heart attack. ;o)
Cool! Thanks for doing that! I love taking multiple shots like that and linking them together. I've got one on my office wall right now of the same spot that's made up of about 4 pictures. And yeah, if you don't mind, e-mail it back to me. My new camera has a "stitch" feature on it where it'll stitch together 3 shots, but the result only occupies the width of one regular sized print so you lose a lot of the close-up detail.
Hey, my @$$ is big enough as it is without you "helping" it!
AAM, have you ever been to Hard Labor Creek State Park just east of Atlanta? My hubby and I went there a year ago. It was pretty, althought the wild hogs scared Blade to death.

I think God may have just told me to put my shoes on though. Right after I hit post a woman knocked on the door and asked if her mother could use my bathroom. They and their teenage son are stranded and waiting on someone with a truck. Their kid was soaked and had got into ants somewhere as he was helping people move their cars. I don't have any coffee, just water but it's dry in here.
My parents have wild hogs on their island. They can be pretty mean - the big boar hogs have disemboweled several dogs belonging to island residents. I always feel better with my pistol in my pocket if they're around.
Stay dry!
Hey Great pictures. Those rocks look like fun to climb around on:)
Becky
Thanks..You too. Looks like it's headed yalls way.
