I am amazed that they eat the grass and not the flowers.

So I was telling a girl at work about my search for orange trees. She said, oh - I’ve got nine of them, I’ll bring you a couple. They are three years old, about 8” tall and started from seeds. I don’t have a clue about what kind of oranges they are from or if they will ever bear fruit :)

Mostly ;~)

Actually, they’ve never eaten the flowers, but I have the sprinkler on behind them to keep them out of the fallen birdseed. It’s just BOSS, but I don’t like them eating the old stuff on the ground for fear of mold/too much dirt. The sprinkler keeps them away.

Aha - now I know the secret :) Although Indy would stand in the sprinkler with no problem.

I’m going to go to the flea market Sunday and get a banana and an avocado tree.

If there was a treat inside, she probably would have :~)

Good morning everyone :~)

Are you off the farm sitting now? Let us know how it goes when you talk to her and settle up :~)

I think we’re fixing a rotting post in the back yard fence today, lunging horses, and we’re going to RIDE tomorrow.

Today’s my last day to feed.

Mack and I have been out cleaning up the shop since I got back from feeding. It really needed it.

Not sure what the rest of the day holds. It’s getting pretty warm now.

Heheh. I get a kick out of beagles. I think that I’m the only person in the world who does. Have you found who he belongs to?

There’s a beagle and basset hound rescue down the road someplace. Not quite sure which house, I’ve just heard them sometimes. He may have come from there. We’ll go take a drive later and see if we can figure it out if she hasn’t come here from the sign we put up at the store.

Half the beagles I’ve ever met have been completely insane. This one seems to be among the sane group. He’s a nice old pooch. :~)

The problem with beagles or any scent dogs is that once they smell something they're off and running. But the ones that I have met have been very sweet, and I think that their bark adds to their charm.

I felt energetic enough to go to the barn today and ride Levi. Now I'm home and feel like I've been dropped on my head. I'm taking tomorrow competely off and staying in bed. We did most of the lesson at the walk, which allowed me to work completely on my position and improving the tempo of his walk.
