I’m catching up on reading posts. Mack has been home the last few days and hogging the computer:)
Anyway, I sure hope your tooth problem gets well soon. It’s miserable.

How was momma and baby this morning? Everything fine?
Looks like we are going riding and camping after all, even though the weather doesn't look the best. The park is about an hour's drive and is real popular for horsemen. We are leaving when my daughter comes home from work.
Everyone have a great weekend!
You have a good weekend too! Hope the weather is better than predicted!
Woke up at dawn to hear hubby going outside.... Since this is unusual behavior first thing... I got up to see what was up.
It seems he was awakened to some kind of loud noise coming from the barn. As we stood there, we could hear these ‘bangs’ of something hitting the metal sheeting. The horses were not in there. It was a squirrel, high in a tree, dropping heavy green pine cones down onto the roof of the barn from above...
We had one who was chewing holes in the side of the house.
Mine aren’t pests... I love them. :~) They’re cute... and very industrious! He was harvesting the ones he wanted, from clear up in the top of the tree. Came down and picked them all up and squirreled them away somewhere for winter :~)
I’m probably prejudiced against squirrels because of the holes in the house, plus my dad’s house burned down when he was 10 because squirrels chewed wires in the attic. Hopefully the squirrels burned down WITH the house, it would only be fair.
Enjoy your camping time!
Honestly, I would have done the same thing and stuck the mare and the foal in the round pen and kept them there until the people you are sitting for came home. I’d much rather have them yell at me for keeping them in the pen, then having a hurt foal/mama/me on my conscience.
This isn’t an opus but I’m taking a long break from FR.
I had Tuffy euthanized this morning. He was getting worse and worse. I’ll talk about it some other time.
Oh dear.
Tuffy, I am so sorry. I really feel for you and all you're going through. I know you really tried everything, and I hope you can have peace with this.
Come back to us when you're ready.
I have had them throw acorns down on me when riding in the forrest. I had a welt on my leg for some time from being hit by an acorn. I swear they laugh at me!
Tuffy, I am so sorry.

Oh Tuffy, I’m so sorry. My heart goes out to you. Take care of yourself!
I am so very sorry. May God comfort and bless you.
My heart goes out to you. I am so sorry for your lost.
Tuffy, my thoughts and prayers are with you. I am so sorry to hear this.
I am so sorry. We will be thinking of you. Be brave.
