I don’t have any petro dollars, either, so I don’t deal very often.

I’ve moved about 120 times in my life. Maybe more. Probably not less.

Not nearly that much for me lol. But except for the house I lived in until I was 11, I’ve nstayed in one place for more than five years.

The late Igor was in aerospace, and had a top-secret clearance. When we got married, I had to provide all my addresses up to that point. And every year, whether we moved or not, we had to provide the addresses all over again. Keeping track of places I’ve lived is still a habit.

"Ive moved about 120 times in my life. Maybe more. Probably not less." I'm about twelve feet from the spot where I was born, but that's the bedroom, and this is the den.

I'm about twelve feet from the spot where I was born, but that's the bedroom, and this is the den. That's amazing! My longest stay anywhere is five years, in southern California from 1970-75. We've been in this house over 4 years, though, so we may break the record. *And* we didn't move when the second baby (Vlad) was a year old, so we've broken our long-term trend. I may die in this house ... which will grow larger as Offspring move out :-).

I lived in San Antonio from 1984 to 1995, but in a lot of different dorms/apartments/houses. It seemed like it got hotter every year!
My parents and in-laws like the lack of snow in Florida. My parents moved there after Dad retired from the Sparrow Missile program and was stuck underfoot during the winter in D.C.

Well, my house grew up as I did.
If my archeological research is correct, it started out life as a two-room dwelling. That was added onto to make what was supposed to be a bungalow with dormers upstairs.
Dad put in a full basement, and added porches all around. I ended up adding a second floor to the whole mess.
As I said, I don’t need a bigger house.

Im still pretty tired, but feeling a little better. Cant lick my weight in wildcats, yet, but Im getting there. Yah well. Got home about 2 PM. Tackled 3 of 4 bills "pre-filed" before the legislature opens for business tomorrow. It's an election year, so everyone's filing stupid "looks good (forget the real result)" bills.
I'll do the 4th tomorrow. *\:-(
