We used to have a cat that would steal and hide socks.
But I suppose you shouldn't tell Pat that...
To: Tax-chick
I would like a cat, but with two large dogs not raised around them, and a hubby who really doesn't like them, that there is not one in my near future...

Well, there will be no pictures of "Wednesday" yet. When I let her out of the carrier, she crept into a (rather cobwebby) corner, and won't come out. Hopefully she'll decide to eat and use the sandbox once I leave the room :-).

Heh...when I got my wayyyyyy overly friendly Siamese...he didn't come out from under the bed for about three days.
Cats like the familiar, I guess - and I don't blame 'em! I'm kind of the same way. Though it can be irritating on weekends when they expect the routine to be the same as it is during the week.

Morning, all. State legislature convenes today, sigh...

Wednesday isn't out from behind the table yet. Maybe she'll appear when the kids go to bed. She's bound to get hungry and need to use the box at some point!

I guess we can tell the twelve-man security detail to stand down then. I have a feeling that my copies of the tax code are safe. ;-)
To: Genesis defender
Thanks, GD! I'll just have that for dinner. :-)
To: Tax-chick
James will be very disappointed.
Now the cats will know his every move.
Wednesday, huh? Black fur?

Tulip, you do realize ... out here in and beyond the orbit of Mars ... "We don't need no steenkeeng tax code!"
Unless it's just a hobby. It should be good for lots of laughs.
Hey, listen to this one ... "Two tax collectors walk into an assay office ..."

Hey, listen to this one ... "Two tax collectors walk into an assay office ..."I've heard blonde jokes, accountant jokes, and attorney jokes, but I'm still trying to find a joke about a blonde tax attorney.

I have to log off for a while.
To: NicknamedBob
Well, cats can't see Pat, so maybe she won't smell him, either!
Wednesday, huh? Black fur?
Yes, and she's big. Der Prinz fished her out of the corner to look at her, and she's a whopper!
Now she's hiding again; the kids are disappointed that she won't come out!

I'm glad you have a new cat! I know you missed Agnes a lot, even if you didn't say it. How can you NOT miss a furball?
