yeah but that won't happen either.
The bowls will complain that they can't get their traditional matchup because the plus one will necessarily pit 1 vs. 4 and 2 vs. 3.
It has too.
And there is no guarantee that it'll be the teams that usually have gone to those bowls....
If they want to do it then they'll have to return to the old bowl format and then pick two teams after them.
That's another way to do it, but they won't go that route, because that will essentially say the previous 8 variations of the BCS were bad.
Won't happen I don't think...
No they won't. We are doomed to BCS "corrections" for the foreseeable future I'm afraid.
Yep.
Pray for undefeated teams from major conferences. That's about the only way to avoid controversy.
And the turnover parade continues....
Clemson fumbles the ball back to Kentucky....
If Florida had been excluded from the BCS title game the SEC would have been ticked off.
This game is case against more bowl games.
Yeah and if USC hadn't choked against UCLA, we'd have a real mess with USC, Michigan and Florida all screaming.
Oh wait Michigan is already screaming :)
This is GREAT!!
Maybe it's because most of the other games have been dogs....but I'm loving every minute of this one so far.
Not to mention if one of the Big East schools had run the table.
I do love having a football game on just about all the time.
Yeah.....that too :)
I think we were as close to BCS Armageddon that we are going to see for a while....
yep
Can't wait until it happens too :)
If I were to select 4 teams....
It would be:
Ohio State
USC
Florida
Miami
Of course you could substitute Michigan for Ohio State or Florida State for Miami or Tennessee, Alabama and even Auburn for Florida......
And let's not forget Notre Dame too :)
Yup. It would have to be big time programs like those as well. Something tells me they wouldn't have any problem screwing a Missouri or a Mississippi St. if they ran the table.
Cats up 28-6!!! Way to represent the SEC, UK!!!! (Too bad Bama let us down yesterday)
Nope and they wouldn't blink an eye, just like with Virginia Tech a few years ago....
How do you not even get a throw off on that 2 point conversion attempt?
I don't know....
that play was kinda frustrating to watch....
