I remember when he left State, whining that they would always be second tier to Michigan, could never get respect, and that's why he left.
It was pretty clear he left for the money. I tried to warn numerous LSU fans of that problem, but in their zeal to win, they ignored it. I always thought his national championship was tainted by the BCS snub of USC that year, a reality most people have now come to understand is that USC would have cleaned their clocks that year.
He was lucky.....more money to go to Miami.....now more money to go to Alabama....Bama fans, be warned....this man has displayed a seeming lack of character over a bunch of moves, and has little loyalty.
There is hope for your addiction........:-)
LOL
I might watch the game a bit, but the Buckeyes are playing basketball at 2... and then the Wild Card games kick off at 4:30 today...
As for Saban, Bama fan better get ready to be used. That's all I gotta say.
I don't want help for my football addiction... I live for it! ;^)
These college football threads have been great to do postings. I do hope OSU win the championship. Got the women UConn Huskies vs. the Tenn Lady Vols at 4:00 PM, plus the men Huskies vs. LSU in at the home campus of LSU tonight.
Go Huskies and go OSU!!!!
I saw much of the International Bowl.
Quite a good game.
Cincy had a big lead - but Western Michigan didn't quit.
That's why I like these lower-tier bowl games. You get to see some good ones.
I'll be watching the GMAC Bowl tomorrow night too.
yeah I saw the final score....
I was honestly surprised to see Cincy up 24-0 at one point. Cincy wasn't that type of team all year long.
is anyone jazzed up about the GMAC bowl except for me?
Ohio U. class of 1980. I'm watching, though I couldn't name a single player on the OU team.
it's ugly so far. obvious that it has been a month since either team played.
I am Southern Miss '87, by the way :)
good luck, but not too much.
Bobcats first bowl game in nearly forty years. Hope they show halftime with the bands. The OU band is really something to see.
I agree that it should have been LSU-USC in the BCS in '03, but I think LSU would have given the Trojans a run for their money. Definitely more than Oklahoma would a year later...
14-0, pal.
;)
But the Buckeyes will redeem the good name of Ohio tomorrow night.
