It did for me. I foolishly thought that when there was no DNA match, no other physical evidence linking them, the charges against the boys would be dropped. When Nifong dug his heels in even deeper & the governor & state attorney general refused to help in any way is when I began to completely lose faith in the system.
She really is one of the most vile talking heads on TV.

Biggest surprise to CBS 60 minutes was the presumption of GUILT by DURHAM, DUKE UNIVERSITY, rest of country AND NIFONG!!
NIFONG convicted students with his inflammatory public statements!!!
ONLY news agency NIFONG DID NOT TALK to was CBS 60 minutes -- Bradley says he was all over the airwaves for everyone else calling players holligans, saying they had rich daddies, etc..

It is comical. I guess the real reporters at the NYT are now refusing to touch this story and toe the company line?
I keep hearing these extortion rumors. I'm not setting my expectations too high though. As long as they filet Nifong and his "case", I'll be happy although I'd love a few bombshells.

Yeah that Bradley interview is indeed a bombshell. It is hard to believe this will not force the government to act.
The biggest news to those of us here is that Bradley confirms that Finerty has an alibi and his holding it until trial.
What happened to the CTV boards? I guess I missed it. I hadn't been there in a while and wanted to see reaction to this 60 minutes interview, and poof!
In Maine it is called "false swearing" and punishable with imprisonment up to 4 years.
The only time I heard of a conviction on "false swearing", in this liberal state, though, was when a tax activist was found to have included a few unverifiable signatures on an anti-tax petition.
Oh, it's against the law, all right, but the DAs choose which laws to enforce and who to apply the law to. That's a huge problem.
