She's a fighter. What I thought was sick though that the cylon dude caused the accident for the kid and was trying to use emotion to get to her. What a sick dude.

When the one cylon killed his Caprica Six cylon maybe Baltar had begun to see the picture a little clearer. And Gaita is helping the insurrection and he has a positive effect on Baltar.

I think the fact that this thread has continued overnight is testament to how damn good this show is.

She's into his head in a big way - there at the end, when she put her hand on his, you could tell she all but owned him in name right then and there.

Keep in mind Tigh has fought two wars against the Cylons - the current one, and the last one that was 40 or so years ago. On one of the DVDs, in the deleted scenes, he talked about what it was like to look at them, and how much they hated humans. Chief and Anders have no idea what all he saw in the first Cylon war.

While they are trying to set this in contemporary times as far as dialogue and the like, at the same time keeping some things vague (as in they could apply to many periods throughout history), after having seen the episode again, it does seem as if they are going more for a Nazi Germany/France/Holland type of thing.

Remember how the collaborators were treated after France was freed...those who were allowed to live were shaved, etc., and basically treated as outcasts.

Maybe they weren't executed. Maybe the Galattica got there and took out the toasters. Maybe Gaita will let people know he had a gun to his head.

It might not be this season for Baltar but I'm still holding out hope.

Well, I just finished reading this whole thread.

Having not yet seen the show, I'd say it was a success. I'll have to rig the VCR to record it tomorrow morning.

You should watch season 1, season 2(the first half of the second season) and then season 2.5 (the last half of the second season)....
