Henry Lee says that "blood" is not what we thinks it is (ala big red blood stains) - he says its microscopic blood, combined with saliva. he believes it to be from a sneeze.
Now isn't this just rediculous! I'm getting sick and tired of hearing about incompetent investigators! This was a child for God sakes who was murdered brutally! Why on earth would idiots screw up so badly? pathetic!
who knows. it could be cover.
remember, Henry Lee says neither of these DNA samples have the complete 13 indicators. He describes them as "partial" DNA, so the match (if it exists) is not going to be one of those "1 in 6 billion" results.
to be honest, I think they are going to prosecute this guy just based on his statements and the taped phone calls. I think they are going to put him on trial absent any physical evidence.
Henry Lee has also said that he purchased an exact pair of under panties as JonBenet was wearing that night and found DNA is the new pair too.
That's just stupid. Are we supposed to believe JMK somehow had access the the clippers which would explain away the presence of his DNA under JBR's fingernails?
A match is a match.
Oh, I don't think so. Mary Lacy is a smart DA, if there is proof this guy wasn't in Boulder in 1996 she isn't going to prosecute him. I think she knows something we don't. Fact is Karr's family has yet to prove he was with them in 1996 and Mary Lacy may know for a fact he was in Boulder in Christmas of 1996. She is not going to prosecute someone she can't get a guitly verdict on, no way!
I haven't read the police reports, but the major screw up I saw was not kicking everyone out and treating the entire house as a crime scene. This is common when dealing with the wealthy/upper classes.
If the published reports are correct, having the father find the child's body X hours after the initial report? Wow
yep, they screwed up everything. They should have had the home clear and CSI on their immediately when they first showed up at the Ramsey's. I bet her killer would have been caught a long time ago had the investigation been done correctly!
"Many pathologists" was a reference to the pathologists who specialize in the types of injuries JBR had that were hired by the Boulder City Police Dept. during the Ramsey investigation. I'm not invested in any one theory, just trying to understand the evidence available.
I think you're right about the disinformation in this case. It's been a challenge to get any 'solid' info on it. So, that's why I relied on the interpretations of the pathologists that examined the JBR evidence rather than on internet postings, MSM, etc.
Your interpreation and theirs are at odds, but you may be right. They do not seem to think that a blow to head of that nature with petachial hemorrhaging some 30 minutes later is impossible. I can't speak for them, but I got the impression that they believed JBR may have had shallow vitals for several minutes after the blow. How that's defined medically and what it may imply I don't know. All of this is just the interpretation of professionals whose job is to make these very kind of conclusions. It's just their take. Again, you may be right.
If you would like to read about what these pathologists concluded I have posted the links previously on this forum.
Who would want the book and movie rights if he wasn't guilty?......Who would read a book about an innocent person?....DO they already know something?
I tend to think you must be right. I can't see how she would do this if she hadn't proven he was there. Depending on what kinds of records he left, it may be trivial for LE to locate him in Boulder on the night of the murder. So, I tend to think she's got him as far as him being in Boulder.
If he's just a crackpot, the interest in him goes directly to zero.
I check the airlines schedules the other evening. If one was to take a direct flight from Atlanta, leaving at approximately 4:00 pm, they would arrive at 5:00 pm Denver time.
I should have added " is a common mistake for inexperienced officers"
One sees their co-workers fired or chewed out for 'failure to appease', it very easy to fall into that.
Yelp! They're gambling on he guilty!
Interesting. Someone once posted a question about airlien recs. Do you know if they have them from 1996? Even if he paid cash his name MIGHT be on the passenger list. Before the days of 9/11 he could have used an alias but, just wondering.
Tried to find out some answers the other evening:
Were the red-eye flight running then?
How much did they cost? (Now $200-400 depending on the day and how long you stay.)
Couldn't find a thing....ANy ideas on search word combinations?
Where did he get his money? (Since that time there has been mention of his drug use, so maybe he was a dealer or mule, or sold child porn)
You know what I think is interesting? karr's family wants book deals and movie deals. You only do that when their is a story to tell and the story would be if Karr really did kill JBR, otherwise there is no story.
