LOL.............wonder who that was that brought up Linwood Smith? *Snort*
I loved this remark, too:
"No discussion of Rules 3.6 and 3.8 is complete without mention that it is DA Mike Nifong who is currently under investigation by the State Bar for his extrajudicial statements."
Is that true?
A complete and utter mouthpiece for the NAACP.
No such offer ever took place.

It would be news to me. I'm only aware of the ethics complaint supposedly filed with the NC AG some months ago. AFAIK, nothing else has been reported about that filing.
Pretty good analysis, although many important aspects aren't addressed. Still, pretty good. Thanks, abb.
Looks like the Wilmington Journal is at least willing to report a full story, but not without bias. I wonder if the WJ folks know Jakki is really a Jack. Of course, if they did, it would just make him/her all the more lovable a "victim" to them.
Anyway, the media (even Hannity and Greta) sure have lost interest in the Duke case. This is obvious in the stories they discuss, much of it repetition that sounds like fillers.

If this Duke cases did not cause such great damage to innocent people (having to face a criminal trial when you are innocent has to be horribly painful and expensive), it would play like a comedy.
