mine comes & goes & I truly believe it is something one must nuture for the most part. There are some, however, (like you?) who don't need any nurturing.. it is a powerful part of their lives & cannot be deniedMine needed no nurturing...it was so strong at some points that it would scare the spit out of me.
Of course, I was also young enough and foolish enough to not hide the ability from the US Army. Back then, I thought it was normal. My dad didn't say it wasn't....sheesh!

what about sis? She had her leg amputated below the knee as a teenager and won a multi-million dollar settlement and to say she has been like a pollack in a whorehouse with a credit card is an understatement. She had that money induced arrogance and lived the "golden rule" and I opted to just steer clear of her and her money manipulation games. She is messed up worse than a soup sandwich.
are you the ONLY "normal" one?
If seeing the future is normal, then I guess I am the only normal one.
what were your parents like?
My dad was an only child and was diagnosed with lymph cancer back in 1966. He was given two to three years to live. For some odd reason, he is still alive.
So, I was raised by a guy that should have died in my early childhood, he did no long-term planning (I guess he didn't see a need) and he is your typical only child...spoiled/selfish and very self-centered.
Mom, well, she was the very mild mannered and pleasant type and if she lived long enough, she would have probably eventually divorced my dad.

Motorcycle accident with her (then) boyfriend. They got married and it has just been one big fat disaster that I am sure he sorely regrets.
Somewhere along the line I stopped beating around the bush, quit the circumlocution and just started telling it how I saw it and don't care if I offend anyone.

Doing it pertty close to Halloween would be ok, but we need to not get it too close, since Hubby and I are thinking of moving Nov 1 & the cable/internet companies can cause unexpected glitches.
As for my mom, she had a brain tumor that shouldn't have killed her, in fact, she was to go to Stanford for an implant that would shrink it and she should have lived to be older than dirt, but the tumor caused a stroke and the stroke was bad enough to kill her.

Mom was about 40, I think and my sis is still alive and leading the pack with most likely to die first. She is currently in jail for her drug problems but will be out and about in about six or seven weeks.
I have got to tell you though, from day one, I was the "good" child and never gave my parents any trouble and such...
I think part of the problem with my siblings in going through school before there was a gifted program and four out of five dropped out due to boredom and managed to find trouble.
