Beautiful.
Nice morning here as well Lady.
Partly sunny, it's 80º and the air is somewhat dry at 47%. Yesterday was wicked hot and tomorrow will ber, so it's nice to have today.
My, you are going to have a hot one! They keep saying we're going to have t-storms have been mostly wrong for our town.
One of my Nice "voices" did that.....the other "voices" promptly gang tackled him, dragged him to the cellar, & lock ti up somewhere.....
Oh, you have nice voices?? I did not know that!
Well, if he lives through the whopping in the basement, please thank him for me.
The Gooseberry Bush.
On the bank, near the creek,
Spring would bring a little peek
as the bush grew out of the snow
we knew the fruit it would bear
in Summer days as we walked near.
Lush, fat, green, white Gooseberries
harvested by a little childs hands
eaten with relish and promise grand
juicy sweet berries, a succulent treat
eaten on the way to the swimming pool
in the creek.
Mother never could gather enough of them
for a Gooseberry Jam or Jelly
those precious, sweet jewels always
found their way into my belly.

He fumbles at your spirit
by Emily Dickinson
He fumbles at your spirit
As players at the keys
Before they drop full music on;
He stuns you by degrees,
Prepares your brittle substance
For the ethereal blow,
By fainter hammers, further heard,
Then nearer, then so slow
Your breath has time to straighten,
Your brain to bubble cool, --
Deals one imperial thunderbolt
That scalps your naked soul.
