HAHA so true but I was at the Nationals/Yankees series this weekend 140 000 people over 3 nights and I might of seen 30 jerseys. Mostly people coming out to booo A-Rod.

Babe Ruth was once asked about making more than the President. He replied, "I had a better year than he did."

So were the playoffs all on that outdoors channel? I don't even get it. It's just sad how far the NHL has fallen.

Watching Carolina win the Cup before Minnesota has is blasphemous and sickening. Isn't that funny? Tampa too ;)

I love this. Canada is nuts about hockey. It is there national pastime afterall. Think about it? The last 2 Stanley Cup winners are from those hockey hotbeds of Tampa & Raleigh!?!?! Must drive the Canadians nuts! Anyway, congratulations to the Carolina WhalerCanes.

Buy a 20ft. 4x4, cheap antenna and rotor, and watch all you want for free from Canada. 'Hockey Night From Canada' is great with Don Cherry. By the way, you'll have to move up North to do this.

Who would have predicted, in actual seriousness that in under 10 years the Carolina Hurricanes would hoist high Lord Stanley's Cup!?!?!?!?

So how is Canada dealing with a team from hot, humid North Carolina taking Lord Stanley's Cup? I live in Phoenix now, but my family is from Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan (home of the LSSU Lakers!). Something just seems wrong about any Sun Belt team being NHL champs.

The Junior Hockey League is a big draw in Canada. The NHL expansion team owners/players have their hearts for the game in their wallets. Many (not all) establishments don't even show these pseudo teams.

Not necessarily. The local broadcast channel can choose what they want to show.
