Well, the panel discussion was split down racial lines. SF and YG for the players; Norm Early and a nurse (black) for the accuser.

The nurse was parrotting Gosslee when she said that the accuser's complexion may have impeded the detection of the accuser's injuries. Jeesh!

SF is now covering an unrelated rape case that was dismissed when the prosecutor was late to court.

RE: Lie detectors

When I saw the initial reports these guys were asking for the poly, I had a strong suspicion they were innocent.
Having done a 'bunch' of Rape investigations, it was my experience every innocent guy asked for a poly. Every single one. As I watched the developments in this case, I couldn't believe an attorney, a member of the bar would risk his ticket in proceeding against obviously innocent people.

Howlin kept telling me he was dumb, I just didn't realize he was that dumb and malicious.

Well this is sort of the story Pittman [aka Roberts] told in her written statement. I wonder who really wanted to leave and who thought there was more money to be made? I tend to believe that Robert's first statement is except for a little self-serving the closest thing to the truth ie the eyes of the stripper/hos.

There are certainly going to be lawsuits. One thought that occurred to me today is maybe the players could file a RICO suit against the Durham DAs office and court system.

RICO was used against right to life groups. Certainly the Durham DA's office and the Durham county judges could be viewed as a criminal organization that conspires to break the law. That would get the plaintiffs into treble damages territory.

You do have a difference - a sans serif font in header and than serif (Times Roman ?) in the body. Could have prepared something off line and pasted into the email, either as serif text or as an image.

It is an extensive email, sprinkled with "journalists" in quotes, indicating a not so subtle slam. I expect Nifong enjoyed working on it.

My take just from the letter is that he enjoys seeing/ hearing himself talk and is immature.
