I guess...it's just starting to wear on me, about where we're going with her. I really hope to either see vast improvement by Thurs. or none at all...that way it won't be hard.

Hey, Welcome back! Quite an ordeal for you guys, but all came out well it seems. Storms, with a lot of wind are so scary to me too. You never know when a tree could come down, like the one behind my barn.

Well here she is moved up to the garden.

This means having to move her at night tho, probably to the trailer. There's no way to enclose her to put the heater in.

The poor thing is really starting to get rank too, but there is no way I can bathe her...it would hurt her too much.

Well, she doesn't mind being rank, at least. Maybe there will be a day when she's feeling better and it's warm enough to hit her with the hose outside.

Poor thing indeed. That's a pretty good set up for the day.

REally...you don't think they notice stinking to high heaven? I hope not, for her sake, because it's really bad.

Yeah, it is a nice place for her, and really I don't mind, just one of those worries that eats on you thru the day.

Dogs love stinking to high heaven. They'll roll in the most disgusting smells they can find, remember?

just one of those worries that eats on you thru the day.

After the days I've had lately, I completely empathize with that!

Well yeah, you're right. I hadn't thought about that, but dam, having to waller around in your own urine....ack...

That cushion is getting pretty bad too, but I can't wash it either, I have nothing else to put her on.

Ok, enough of my worries:), I think I'm going to saddle my horse, it's cloudy but warm, and no rain is forecast till this evening.

Well I'm glad to see that you're back in touch with the world. We missed you yesterday, but Rosie and Ramius were nice enough to let us know what happened. I'm glad that the wind didn't get any worse than it did.

I just got in from a ride, and have an interesting picture, actually I took a lot, but I can only be at the computer a few minutes, Mack needs it for work:).

For scale I took this one, this is my hand next to a foot print of Grizzly.

As I was riding thru this sandy spot, I just happen to look down and saw this foot print

I'd have to say some kind of cat...bob, lynx,...???

The websites I'm seeing is that it's probably not a cat, because the claws are out. Might be a really big dog...

It's not a bear...

While looking for more products for the Hobbit Hole "troop tech" project, I came across some items that might be useful here, or at least amusing.

First, an adapter for standard water bottles that includes a carabiner to attach the bottle to various rings. The main part seems to be rubber, and is pulled over the neck of the bottle:

Next, for lazy dog owners, a "snack shooter" that launches doggie disk treats:

And the last item from X-treemgeek catalog: the knifespork:

Finally, for biking or trail riding, a frontpack

Inside, it has all the room you need for ID, cellphone, money, MP3 player, and large handgun:

Cool stuff, Mr. Gadget! I like the bottle with the carabiner dealy on it, and the frontpack seems like a real good concealable pack too, under a coat or big sweatshirt. Not super accessible, but more accessible than if you left it at home. :~)

Hey thanks for the web site. I guess it probably isn't anything other then a dog, but darn, I'd sure hate to run into that dog:)...Sure looks big.

I've got some more pictures loading nothing special, just trail pictures.

Today's trail pictures. Standing in the creek.

Going down a pretty steep hill, altho it's hard to tell in a picture.

The creek at the bottom. I'd like to know if something lives in that hole in the bank on the other side:)
