LOL!
Well, that's all I've ever seen them do, besides look cute in a pasture :~)
Or look cute in a For Sale ring. : )
She's not even a depression yet
I am watching the Weather Channel but nothing until 10 minutes before the hour. There is a new girl on tonight, a cute brunette.
If you want to read some funny stuff go to the blogs at weatherunderground. I'm kind of a storm junky but fot these guys it's a passion and they are all over the board. I thought they were going to have a wake for Chris:') Warning: It's not PG 13 though.
They touch souls. I've seen big horses do so but even the grumpiest and grouchiest smile when they see these little ones and talk to them. Horses and dogs of all sizes and shapes just seem to bond with people and read emotions. Remember my post about my grandson crying? I was shocked when I saw Sarah Lee lower her head and move close to him. He was mad as hell at me but he reached up and kind of hugged her.
Not usually a storm junky unless there is a chance we will get some much needed rain. Who is/was Chris? There is one that usually comes on next, on the weather channel, that is confusing. (gender bender?) I may check over at WeatherUnderground to see what they say.
That is so awful - horrible to happen to any horse but she looks like she has really good confirmation and a pretty head for a mini. What I mean is not a run of the mill but a horse worth a few bucks. Whoever did that to her didn't get her free unless they stole her.
Stalls aren't cheap either.
Oh the stall she's in in that picture is at the place who rescued her.
She might have been worth something once. ~sigh~
Oh, ok. I thought you said she was in a small, wet stall.
I think we have some before/after confusion :~)
From Hair's keyboard to my monitor:') I think you are right. Normally, they should have broken off. Didn't the girl also say, she walked by and saw her?
I don't know a lot about where she was... but all the pics are after removing her from that place. What I said is mostly speculation about why her feet would have grown like that without breaking off. Soft ground and/or lack of movement. And she had thrush, which indicates wet.
She's got a sweet face and good eyes. She might be a wonderful therapy horse if she is able to walk at all.
God works some real miracles. Cindy, didn't you tell us about the found horse at your stables that couldn't even stand up to begin with? Did it make it?
He's doing much better. He isn't laying down as much so his wounds are healing. He walks all over the place. He's still got a stiff gait but he's walking and not hopping anymore.
That's good to hear. Thanks.
I can't get over the condition of those feet! Oh my god!
