The Paraguay players are devastated.
It will be really interesting to see how the Germany group ends up, and how that will impact the Sweden-England game.
Thankfully both games will take place at the same time. That is my favorite part of the WC, when you have two matches simultaneously to see who advances and what position they'll be in.
It might get more interesting than one would think.
T&T facing a Paraguay with nothing to play for. Sweden possibly facing an English side desperate to avoid Germany.
England-Sweden 2-1
T&T-Paraguay 2-0
What happens then? FIFA ranking decides?
That's disgusting!
You got any more of those? :)
But, the Germany group will be decided by then, so England and Sweden will now going in what result is needed to avoid facing the Germans.
will know.
Time for bed :-)

If that's what Swedish chicks do for one lousy goal I can't wait to see what they do if someone scores a hat trick for Sweden.
"Also, this prevents shady deals and "tactical" playing. Quote Wikipedia: "The last round of matches of each group is held simultaneously to prevent collusion between nations.""
And come on now Wolf, who's responsible for that little rule?
Own up ;o)

Like the 1982 debacle with Germany and Austria fixing the result to go through and wreck the Algerians.
Thats my beef too. Its this "seeded" nonsense.
Bookmarked for later.
I just love the Swedes.
That pic will be all over the internet within thirty minutes.
I believe they would draw lots in that case.
What's wrong with the seedings?
