It looks like I'll have to wait for the robot story...

I mean relatively speaking, of course... LOL. And here I was this afternoon setting up yet another Win98 box. Only to discover I need drivers for the onboard peripherals. Sigh...

"Had electrons even condensed by then?" Oh, sure. They were kinda crude, and had a homemade look to them but we had electrons.
Boy, you should have seen the excitement though when the first neutrino showed up!

It's been doing this for the last 10-12 years now...
Thank goodness for central air...

"It looks like I'll have to wait for the robot story..." It won't be my first robot story. What makes it different is that at last I have a possible plot for a mystery story.
I swore up and down that I had no interest in doing a mystery. My wife's friend reads only mysteries.
Not for her sake though. I just couldn't come up with a plot. Maybe now I have.

Protons were shoddily built - they only have a half-life of 100,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 years...

Not good at all. I'm back at DriverGuide.com since Gateway's FTP server is down/gone. Last time DriverGuide was a huge help in the rebuild of my wife's "ancient" laptop (but she has one -- the only one I have belongs to the company), but I am striking out bigtime so far...
OTOH, they seem to be having troubles. A lot of graphics aren't loading at all...

I'll have a look at that site - could be useful, considering a pre-emptive strike with my computer - replace the hard drive before she blows!

"A bionic Colombo?" No, that's been done. Just a simple murder plot.
Not to worry, though, it'll be someone who needs killing.

You could introduce an ethical debate - if a robot gets killed, there would be a discussion on whether it's murder or not.

To which do you refer? The hard drive or the air conditioner? ;)
