Am I the only one seeing a "Taylor" effect on all the contestants lately? Suddenly it's ok to prance and sashay around the stage, actually having FUN while singing. Even Chris shook some booty in the crowd and Elliot showed some 'tude. It's ok for everyone except Taylor. LOL

I will say that a Chris CD would sell more than an Elliot CD, and probably more than a Taylor CD.
If you're talking about marketing, and album sales, I think Chris would be on top.
Don't know if he'll win the contest, though.

It has nothing to do with whether or not I personally like Taylor. He is a mediocre singer and performer. Simon is right. You hear his kind of singing in every karaoke bar in America. He has NO star quality. He's a dork.

Taylor did great tonight. "In The Ghetto" just blew me away. I did a bunch of text messages for Taylor and Elliot and haven't got any confirmations back. I don't know if those lines get jammed like regular phone lines?

One would think Simon spends his life in Karaoke bars the way he's always comparing the contestants to Karaoke singers. I know. That comment is so overused that it's meaningless now.
Of course it's going to sound like Karaoke, Simon--they're singing Elvis songs!
