He's not Kelly Clarkson good, but about 92% of that which isn't bad.
And he has a definite IT factor, which transcends just voice. I predict major stardom and celebrity for this man and perhaps a fantastic flameout in 20 years, a la Elvis. Tay getting all fat and high in his 50s, selling out Vegas.

Reba's "foot in their mouth" line was GREAT tonight. Carrie won two big awards and my girl Sara Evans won best female vocalist!
The best thing was after Reba made that comment and the crowd roared, she did this little curtsy afterward.
It was so great to see Carrie win those awards! I feel so proud of her! She looked just gorgeous tonight and even thanked Simon Fuller and American Idol. What a gracious young woman!

Dail Idol has a HUGE margin now. I expected it to tighten up once left-coast votes started but it's getting wider.
