I remember Katharine's audition. Her mom was there and she talked about her mom being a singing instructor. I remember thinking she was very subdued and conservative looking - Kathraine that is.

Well, I just remembered that one episode because it was on at like, 8 pm. Even though I am not a KAT fan, I think some comments about her (meow, meow) are very unfair.

Out here in the state of PA, I can't even get tickets to the concert unless I bid on ebay! I was so surprised - when I went to Arrowhead I didn't do anything for a few days. I didn't realize there were presales to contend with.

My problem with Kat is that there are young impressionable girls watching and she is giving them the idea that when your abilities are lacking, you should fall back onto exposing your body.

Horror giant Stephen King has blasted US TV network ABC for scheduling the small screen adaptation of his latest work Desperation at the same time as the American Idol finals.
The Misery author is thrilled with director Mick Garris' TV adaptation of his novel, which stars Ron Perlman and Annabeth Gish, but was horrified to discover it will be fighting for audiences with rival network Fox's talent show tomorrow (23MAY06).
Writing on his website, King says, "Those of you who are familiar with the wonderful world of television may have noticed that Desperation - probably the best TV movie to be made from my work - has been scheduled by ABC to run, not just against American Idol, but against the American Idol finals.
"But am I bitter? Hell, yes, I am bitter!
"Those of you who watch will get a gold star. Those of you who don't, and watch American Idol instead well, just remember: I have strange powers."
In her favor, I have to say she is positive for girls in that she is not super skinny a la Nicole Richie or Lindsay Lohan. I remember loving Kate Winslet for not being rail thin in Titanic.

Mrs. DFU spent a ridiculous amount of money on presale tickets in the first section, 22 rows from the stage for the Idol tour at the Pond in Anaheim. Hey, I spent money flying to DC for the weekend to parade in front of the Clinton White House with a poster-sized eviction notice. I guess she can spend this money.

I was just kidding about yelling. If the crowd didn't pummel me, Mrs. DFU would. She really got tired of the embarrassing dinners during campaign 2004 when I demanded that waitresses remove the Heinz ketchup so I could use my W ketchup.
We'll still be rooting for Chris. What an injustice. The best performer they have ever had on the show and he is not in the finals. He will be the biggest recording star among anyone who has ever appeared on Idol.
That's hilarious. My sister and I carried Sharpies with us, so we could write something "interesting" just below the "Heinz" label at restaurants. Still don't use Heinz. I'd rather have naked food, than to line that man's pockets.
All I'm asking for is a little "whooo!" for TH on my behalf! ;) I'm so jealous you get to be there. You're a good man for taking your wife. My hubby took me to see my fav artist--he didn't even care for the music, but knew it would mean a lot to me. Enjoy!

It has been announced that a second show has been added in Virginia since the first show sold out in 20 minutes. Tuesday, September 5th in Norfolk is the date.
Um, I'm the husband who has taken his wife on five quilt runs, including our own quilt run from Northern Washington down to Southern California on a drive home from our daughter's house. That's why she doesn't harass me over my political activities; although, she has warned me that she won't bail me out if I'm arrested during a FReep.
