Taylor's posts would be well over 1,000,000 had many threads not been deleted. There was one with 150,000+ posts on it alone that got deleted. One with about 30,000 posts and several others that were in the 10,000 range. That's not including all of the non family friendly risque posts either.

Not up to seeing the floor rolls again either. What was this show about again? Floor exercise?

Idol producers quietly release the voting totals after the finale, but never during the season and for good reason. If you knew, for instance, that Clay Aiken was so far ahead every week, it would be a waste of time watching, Lythgoe explained. You wouldnt vote for anybody else because you would think, Well, [my choice] is never going to win, Clay is so far ahead of the game. Was he? If so, how is it he came in second?
Another tidbit is Nigel thinks they will raise the maximum age to 30. So we may get more Taylor-type contestants, who have experience. Which should tell you something. Taylor may have made them rethink things. Why would that be unless he was really popular.
Sounds good.
Finally, if they are going to raise the age by one year, I hope they consider raising the minimum age to 18 as well. Most of these kids need to finish high school IMHO.
That one gets tricky. Should they say you have to have to be a high school grad? Might be better to just say you must be 18 and out of high school. That would eliminate the need for tutors and nobody would be missing school. Plus, they wouldn't need parental consent.

I have heard that he is working with her. (Notice the lack of talk show circuit this week) I've read that all 3rd place finishers get gipped on the talk show circuit because of practice for the finale. I also read that one of Elliott's 'cousins' is big in the recording game and wants to talk to him. Can you verify?
Also, he has retained the services of an agent and he's meeting with producers already. The agent that picked him up is excited to have him. I'll post more when it is "official". Someone out in Hollywierd walked him in.
Relative? Family friend?

I also found it interesting that Chris tried out for Rockstar INXS. I read he didn't make the cut.

After all it is a wildly popular program that is decent for the entire family, Well, it was, until we started getting all the breast shots and crotch shots. Then again, she does want to be an actress.

In fairness, part of why Taylor has such hisgh post totals is because he is still a contestant. I think there was probably a big drop in posts as each contestant was eliminated. Still, he was getting the most and probably would still be getting posts had he been eliminated.

Dial Idol has upgraded to include 3 lines for each Idol this week! That's nice, but I thought they had more than 3 for the finale last year.
Anyone remember?
If dial idol is smart, they will have a 4 line and a 5 line backup, just in case AI tries to outsmart them!

Correct. He tried out but didn't make it. That's the interesting part is that I like Chris a lot and thought he did very well on AI. Yet not well enough for Rockstar.

LMAO!!! How'd she get in the finals again? I didn't see her audition. Did she by chance bounce around a little, or jump up and down?

Incidentally, Taylor's Georgia is over 7 minutes long. He's going to need to do some heavy cutting. Course, he should get as much time as Kat does for SOTR. ;)

Thanks for the info...
I'd love to hear Taylor sing "Georgia." I think it would give him a sure "win."
As for Katharine doing SOTR, she just did it last week and it was her best (per the judges). If she repeats it, it may give the impression that she doesn't have many "good songs" because last week is so fresh in our minds.
Regarding Chris and Rockstar....he may have not made the cut because he was too "GOOD." I saw that show last year and most of the contestants (especially the winner) sucked!

I saw her audition and I thought that of all the girls, she, Paris, Lisa and Mandisa were the best. Kat sang God Bless the Child a capella and received UNANIMOUS praise from all 3 judges.
Her Hollywood audtion showed her doing a great solo on Diane Warwick's I KNOW I'LL NEVER LOVE THIS WAY AGAIN. Even then I was quite impressed with her.
I already knew then that Kat, Lisa ( Hopelessly Devoted to You ), Mandissa ( Turn Out the Lights ), and Paris (Can't Fight the Moonlight ), were favored by the producers to be in the top 12.
Too much time focused on them in the auditions to the detriment of others ( e.g. Ayla Brown and Melissa Mcghee ).

If she repeats it, it may give the impression that she doesn't have many "good songs" because last week is so fresh in our minds. Agree. If the rumor is true that she's doing "Black Horse and Cherry Tree" and "SOTR" then it will likely be seen that way.

That's why music is so subjective. I thought many of the performances on that show were vastly superior to anything I've seen on AI. Some of the arrangements they put together on very popular songs (Wish You Were Here, Bohemian Rhapsody, Baby I Love Your Way, etc.) were extremely well done.
I was not a JD fan but I thought he was the right fit for the band. I love their new record. He picks up where Hutchence left off. He could never be replaced.

The Blues guitar riffs alone are about 2 minutes long. He can also eliminate certain repetitions and I think a 2 minute version is plausible.
Since there will only be 6 songs sang, I think their time for one song will be a little longer ( maybe another 30 seconds ).
To: SirLinksalot
The judges must be sorely disappointed with her now! I think they are trying to salvage the season. :)
