I have nothing against gospel music or the Christian band "Herbs, Spices and Livestock". Theya actually sound pretty good, I might have to check out their album...
Peace :-)
Sounds like a new Domino's Pizza promotion...
I predict this thread will easily make 10,000.
"No, and neither does anyone else."...you're wrong about that. She is a very well-known author and speaker. Writes amazing study material. Sells out everywhere she speaks.
Okay...I am so new to this. How does that work, or should I keep trying to get tickets from ticketmaster if they release seats?
I thought we were talking about a gospel musician with a fantastic singing career. How much do people pay for tickets to watch her give a speech?
forget Ticketmaster at this point, if you want to go you are either going to go through a reseller (scalper) (at least $100-$150 per ticket) or a good samaritan...
I think she is 21.
McLOL, McOK :)
yep, you're right. What the heck are presales anyway? And I never thought to go to the box office! When I saw AI II in California - where i lived at the time, I didn't get tickets for a week after they went on sale. I think that AI is reaching people with all different musical tastes now - so the tickets sold out more quickly.
And anyway, I really just want to see Elliott.
Didn't Priscilla pick the songs for them? I was under the impression that they all had to sing Elvis songs?
Randy: I don't know dog, didn't work for me. Elvis was a dude, and you're a chick, you shoulda picked a chick tune, it didn't work that great for me...
I get so tired of Randy calling the girls "dog." That's total disrespect, IMO. If someone called me a "dog", I'd be pretty upset about it.
Paula: Oh I agree, but you know I love you, and I'm a big fan, your voice is so beautiful and you are so beautiful, you shouldn't have picked an Elvis tune though.
Again, I thought Priscilla picked their songs?
\Simon: You two are idiots, how many more years do you have left on your contracts...
I couldn't agree with Simon more.

Thanks for looking that up for me. I didn't realize that she is that old. I wonder what she's been doing since she got out of high school.
She went to some music conservatory.
Katharine was born and raised in Los Angeles. She was exposed at an early age to the joy of singing by her mother, a vocal coach. After high school, Katharine attended the prestigious Boston Conservatory for one semester and majored in musical theater.
wonder why she only went for one semester
Bring the dog, I love animals.I'm a great cook.
I listened to Seacrest interviewing Chris the morning after he got kicked off the show and Seacrest revealed that he gets told the results Wednesday afternoon by Nigel Lythgoe and Ken Warwick and he has to do the rehearsals and hang around the contestants knowing which of them is going home. I assumed he was told kind of at the last minute-- that he just read cue cards to tell the contestants where to stand and such.
99.9% of the tickets these days go through the Internet, it's the only way to really get decent seats. The website can handle many people at a time, while in person its much fewer. In the future, you need to get a Ticketmaster account ahead of time, with your credit card already in there, get the presale information from the AI website, and then start clicking on Buy Tickets two minutes before the alloted time.
I did this and got through in the first sixty seconds and there were still already thousands of seats already gone. Within 20 minutes, they were all gone (for Birmingham- which we have to drive to since we'll be in Europe when they come to Atlanta).
Send me a note next year a week before-hand and I'll help you out if you need a quick refresher. Or anyone else that hasn't done it before. We go to quite a few concerts, plays, etc. so I use Ticketmaster a lot.
