I am very sorry to see Elliott eliminated from the competition. But, OTOH, I have a feeling he is going to go far WITHOUT AI, as soon as his contract with them ends.
You don't get thousands and thousands of people coming out to cheer you in your hometown and state unless you are really talented AND a wonderful human being.
Hats off to Elliott!!! He is the real American Idol.

I grew to enjoy Elliott. His voice is wonderful, but he is a boring performer. That said, I usually only LISTEN to music & rarely WATCH it.

For what he sings best it is likely to be seen as boring. But, I will bet you $100 that some day, somewhere, some guy is going to pop an Elliott CD into his disk player then try to close the deal with a woman. He seems to have a great effect on women with his voice.

He is not a performer. Not yet anyway.
But he has a voice of velvet perfection and for those of us who like it, he has been terrific entertainment. I could listen to MMFL a million times and never tire of it.
And there are a lot of us with waiting checkbooks, so take note, and get going, Blue Note, or whomever.
