I'm on the West Coast, voting my heart out for Tay-Tay, but I'm getting through a lot, and that worries me. Normally I get nothing but busy signals. I hope that's not a bad sign! I'm glad tht you were able to vote a lot for him! :)

(Taylor--he sings, writes his own songs, plays instruments, has charisma, and he's the whole package.)
To: A CA Guy
" Should be Taylor and he will need to dye his hair to look younger"If he shows up next Tuesday with ink black hair, he will not be your next American Idol.
Other than that, he should run the table because ultimately this thing isn't [exclusively] about looks. Despite the numerous celebrity mummies the Idols have had to endure.

This person still cannot get over Chris going home and harbors bitterness and resentment.
It's a TV show!!!
And Kat is carrying my baby. I have a video with a time stamp to prove it.

I feel the same way about Chris. I love that he is a family man. I really wanted him to win! I pray that he stays true to his family and himself. Now we are voting for Kat. I know a lot of people don't like her, but in my house we think she's great! That's interesting that you would vote for Chris because of his values and then vote for Kat. She dresses the type that would entice someone to leave their family.

Being a family guy is one of his appeals.....
I agree.

"The finals from Dial Idol"If this holds, then they'll get a pretty marketable final: Beauty and the Soul Beast.
On that score, you get the sense that Kat needs to win this thing if she ever expects a recording career in pop music. Otherwise, its music theatre/modeling/movies for her where she will likely excel.
Tay-Tay, on the other hand, will soldier on with a solid recroding and performing career that is already under way regardless of next Tuesday's outcome; a career that has benefitted magnificently from a four month pimp stint on national television.
It's his to lose, but she needs it more than him.

"Kat is carrying my baby"I thought she felt heavier on top of me.
To: Txsleuth
But, you could tell that Simon was just telling everyone they darn sure better vote for her, and NOT Elliot. This is very true. Simon made the prediction on Leno Monday night that Kat would be in the finals and he did everything possible to ensure that it happens that way.
To: Senator Goldwater
If this holds, I think those numbers are going to hold. Zabasearch is probably more accurate this time since we don't know about Dial Idol's third numbers.

The man in her life may be abusing her and you make a perverted joke out of it. The key word is MAY. She also could have fallen down while drunk and hit her face.
Well, if you are using that logic, she could have been kidnapped by aliens and hit her head getting into the space ship.
To: Millee
Kat would make the next, best Revlon girl but her singing is nails on a chalkboard to me.
I agree - but my wife thinks she sings beautifully.

FYI..yesterday's (Tuesday's) NY POST reports that Pickler's dad has petitioned the NC parole board to allow him to travel out of state to attend the AI finals, on which the Cherkin will appear.
I can't understand Kat's last song choice..the contestant's pic..She'd have been far, better off, standing up there, saying "This one's for out brave troops all over the world.." and singing "God Bless America".

I thought Elliott did great with his first two songs. I wanted to hear more of "What You Won't Do For Love", at least another verse, and that's the song he spent the least amount of time on.
I do wonder how Kat got more time for SOTR. Maybe I'm just used to hearing the movie version of that song, but what was she singing in the beginning? A verse we've never heard before?

To: All posters on Free Republic AI threads
From: "Leer" Patrol
Please be advised that all future posts that refer to Katherine McPhee's "ta-tas" MUST include the adjective "bodacious."
This is necessary to ensure that no mention of the aforementioned "ta-tas" is confused with a reference to "Tay-tay"
Your cooperation in this important matter is appreciated.
