it has been in the media for at least the last 12 hours.
Simon is up to his tricks again.

Hate to say it, but I'd lay even odds on Chris bolting for a hot blonde model or celebrity within the next two years. It's all part of the rock 'n roll fantasy.

The man in her life may be abusing her and you make a perverted joke out of it. The key word is MAY. She also could have fallen down while drunk and hit her face.

I hope not. He seemed like a pretty good guy. If he were a "dog," he'd have been bopping the Kat and making her purrrr.

Kat was given a LOT of extra time on Rainbow:
ELLIOTT "Open Arms" 1:31 "What You Won't Do For Love" 1:20 "I Believe To My Soul" 1:52
KATHARINE "I Believe I Can Fly" 1:43 "Somewhere Over The Rainbow" 2:34 "I've Got Nothing But The Blues" 1:20
TAYLOR "Dancing In The Dark" 1:35 "You Are So Beautiful" 1:56 "Try A Little Tenderness" 1:47

One sad thing I read is that Chris' wife had to have a hysterectomy and it happened while he was on Idol. So they won't be having any children with each other, which may be hard for Chris to deal with possibly in the future. But hey they can always adopt another baby.

I'm on the West Coast, voting my heart out for Tay-Tay, but I'm getting through a lot, and that worries me. Normally I get nothing but busy signals. I hope that's not a bad sign!

Less then Fantasia?UGH. That was one contestant that made me clench my teeth. There were only a couple of her performances that I thought were OK. I just did not get the absolute FAWNING over her week after week. My girl was Latoya London and that red head stayed in, while she was voted off. Ppppllttththththtbbbttt (that's a RAZZ, spelled out)

Thanks. She got a full minute more song time than the guys. If they all got 2 and a half minutes on their songs think how well they could have done.

Outside of her good looks I am not sure why you are so impressed with her.

It was definitely Kat-rescue night. I think Simon sees Taylor as inevitable for the finals, so he needed to get Elliot out of the way - thus the farewell speech to E and the straight pimpin' of Kat.

I think they've been married, or at least together for awhile. She and the kids were in pictures they showed from several years ago, when Chris had hair. The kids were little bitty toddlers. They are seven and nine now. Maybe he just sees them as his own and that's enough for him. On the Idol site it says one of his proudest moments was teaching his son to ride a bike. I also read that he frequently ate lunch with the kids at school. It was in an article posted here on FR. In the AI profile he states that it's very important to him to be a good dad. I don't know what the situation was before he came onto the scene. But, I get the impression that his wife had some pretty tough times. I get the feeling she's a pretty strong girl, and an inspiration to him. I wish them well.

I hope not, but there is no doubt that it'll be tough. I'm glad my hubby isn't a rocker.

I loved Latoya London. I got almost as mad about her getting voted off as I did last week when Chris did. She was very classy, and a flawless performer. Fantasia=Fanausea Barf! I couldn't stand her! Of course, now they're making a movie for her to play herself! Wow, imagine that. Maybe it's because she functionally illiterate and thinks that's something to be proud of. I guess making a movie about yourself is one way to get around reading the script.
