I didn't see the movie but can just imagine how bad it must have been.
Its too bad they did that. They could have waited a bit and done a bio on Kelly and actually had a decent movie.

And I just gave them to you. And, yes, I did take shots at people who cannot show any respect for classic American music.

I didn't see the movie but can just imagine how bad it must have been.I've seen worse movies. 'From J2K' was a quick, cheap knock off of the Frankie Avalon-Annette Funicello beach party movies of the 1960's. At least 'From J2K' was innocent and 100% free of the gratuitous sex, violence and foul language Hollyweird equates with fine acting these days.
Unfortunately, it was targeted at the pre-teen and young teen audience of around 40 years ago.

You didn't give a link. And since when is Ace, Mandisa? Just because people don't care for Elliots style doesn't mean they disrespect classic American Music.

The Avalon and Funicello movies were somewhat weak, which was a clue to avoid J2K like the plague.

ok, I'm know I'm getting ready to break your hearts but I have the Mobile crud and feel like crap - I know you're going to be heartbroken that I won't be posting my usual witty (or dumb) comments tonight but I think I'm going to watch AI in bed and then drink an old fashioned whiskey toddy (my mother just called and told me how to make it) and then fall asleep and hope like hell I'm improved in the a.m. I'll catch up with you guys tomorrow night! Di

Its too bad they did that. They could have waited a bit and done a bio on Kelly and actually had a decent movie.Ironic ain't it. The very same complaint of Elvis, Frankie Avalon, any other pop idol, etc. A rush to capitalize on the hero worshipping traits of teenage kids.

Kelly had humble beginning and look at her now. I'd rather watch a bio pic on her life and rise to fame than some two bit knock off beach bimbo movie.

Taylor has this thing in the bag. It's all only opinion, of course, but I don't think Taylor has it in the bag. I think if the producers get their way, it will be a Chris/Katharine finale, probably with Chris winning.
I believe this even though I like both Elliott and Taylor much, much better than Chris or Katharine.

The Avalon and Funicello movies were somewhat weak, which was a clue to avoid J2K like the plague.Yep, they were weak, but innocent and targeted at 1960's era pre-teens and young teens. But you're right, the beach party formula of the 1960's should have been avoided like the plague in 2002 when they rushed J2K into production. The pre-teens and young teens of today are hardly the wide-eyed innocents kids in the same age group were 40 years ago.

Can you imagine it. To get the same feel nowadays you'd be looking at a 12 year old 'Moondoggie'! LOL

"Alexis Rios-- who is a young stud"Please do not refer to young athletes as "studs". Not a political correction issue, but that's a term that really needs to retire.
Especially when one man is referring to another man. The sports press, particularly the baseball press, is completely infected with its use.

We might learn tomorrow night which way the wind is blowing.I'm a cynic, Netizen. Without even hearing tonight's performances, I fully expect Elliott will leave tomorrow. I expect Katharine to make it to the finals, so Chris or Taylor goes next week. I hope I'm wrong.

The interesting thing will be if Katherine goes.
Which guy realistically gets the "Kat" vote?

Taylor probably has the biggest boobs of the three...
To: Wolfstar
I had the sense a couple of weeks ago that AI was setting it up for Chris/Kat. I still think so.
