Oh, I don't know that we'd be voting in vain, even if that happened to be the case. The winner would still have to be someone the public liked. I think the message is LOUD AND CLEAR that people will listen to and purchase music sung by people who can actually sing and entertain, are endearing and original, and respect their fans and their opportunities.

I'm really curious about this week, because logically Paris's votes are more likely to go to Eliot that Katherine, I would think. I would think the producers are re-thinking which singers can actually do a whole set, and might not do those little things that have favored Chris and Katherine.

I think she looks darned good for a woman who will turn 61 on May 24 (born 1945). I don't think her plastic surgeries have made her look anywhere near as clownist as, oh, Nancy Pelosi. :)
