I voted five times for Chris and two times for Elliot. I'm going to continue to vote for Elliot now that Chris is gone (boo hoo.) I would have imagined that Chris would have sold more CD's than the other three combined. So it's a shock to realize that he's gone.
Me too!! It was a real shock. I REALLY like him. I actually thought Chris might become the Idol. I still think he's going to get a record contract and he's going to go far.
That said, I've voted for Elliott many times. I think he's got a fantastic voice, and he's overcome so much in his life to get to where he is. He's been an Idol in the making, from his hair to his dress. He's changed so much.
The main problem that I have is that I like all of them now. It's really difficult to chose between them. :o)

For you younger people, all the teenage boys tuned in to the Mickey Mouse Club once Annette started to "develop."
Gilda Radner used to do her on SNL, "I'm Annette, and these are my breasts."

Kat sang much better tonight than she did last night. I was surprised that she beat out Chris.

He was shocked! Did you see his face when they said it was him?I sure did. He almost doubled-over. I thought he was going to be sick. Hate that. Seacrest could have used a little more finesse with that.

Tommy Mottola probably had more germs on his hand than Chris had in his nose. ROLFMAO!!!

That said, I've voted for Elliott many times. I think he's got a fantastic voice, and he's overcome so much in his life to get to where he is. I don't get it. How can all of you guys vote for Elliott when you have a real live knockout bombshell on the ballot. Just doesn't seem right to me, particularly when that bombshell can really sing. It's like voting for the guy with D after his name. I just can't force myself to do it.

Look, the comments are a little over the top(pardon the pun). A little discretion never hurts. I agree with you again. Not only about the boob comments tonight, but some of the other stuff has been a bit sour too.

"Those sunglasses didn't help him at all"Someone earlier said it best about Daughtry:
There was no growth with him. His WOW factor dissipated weeks ago and his sameness finally caught up with him.
He'll now go on to become a fixture on alternative radio.
For about five minutes.

I liked Ace on Greta's show last week. Didn't like his singing much, but he's a cute and sweet guy.

Just trying to always let everyone on FR know how happy I am to be a part of this amazing place (especially after I lurked for about 6 years!) Well your posts have certainly helped to cheer up the thread for me tonight and I thank you for that :)

Please go back to your Playboy or Playgirl magazines. We get your point about Chris and we all know about your fixation on Kat's boobs.

When ever she's done really good and then when she's been in the lower vote count. I think she's beautiful and no matter what happens now, she's going to get a record contract. We're going to be hearing a lot of good songs from her in the years to come. Of that, I'm sure. :o)

"We get your point about Chris and we all know about your fixation on Kat's boobs"There are other regions of her anatomy which merit my fixations.
I'm particularly attracted to the fact that she isn't bald.

Chris Daughtry gets the boot in an 'Idol' shocker
http://www.mercurynews.com/mld/mercurynews/entertainment/music/14548929.htm
NEW YORK - Shock. Total shock.
That was the reaction in the audience when "American Idol" finalist Chris Daughtry - predicted by many to be the last singer standing - was booted off in Wednesday's voting.
In the most competitive "Idol" race yet, Daughtry's exit narrowed the contestants to three. The winner will be named May 24.
"Surprised?" Host Ryan Seacrest asked an unsmiling Daughtry, visibly caught off guard.
The 26-year-old rocker, drowned out by loud boos and screams of "No!" replied: "Yes."
The other "Idols" stood speechless, mouths agape. Even the judges - usually unflappable - didn't foresee Daughtry's ouster: Simon Cowell's jaw fell slack; Paula Abdul's eyes filled with tears.
