I enjoyedthe show tonight. Taylor was great--he was really in his element. That ghetto song was rather depressing, however.
Chris was bad. His voice is going on him.
Kat reeked. My hands flew up to my ears when she started her caterwauling. And is there any part of her anatomy we have not seen yet? Tonight it was the exposed belly. And her butt is starting to rival Mandisa's. So long, Kat Brat...you're toast.
Elliott was excellent. He looked great, and his confidence has zoomed in recent weeks. It sure showed with his rendition of "Trouble". He'll be in the finals.

Based on the DI threads she is in third place but without the benefit of the West Coast votes that seem to go her way.
I suspect that Chris might be the low man on the totem pole this week which will just about throw the show in an uproar.
Me, too. I still don't understand why they went with ugly screeching over pretty and talented.
Haven't seen the show yet, but I do think the genres have helped Chris stretch. He's actually a pretty good singer when forced out of his angry rock comfort zone. If he's smart -- and there's every reason to think he is -- win or lose he'll continue to develop what he's learned about his own vocal abilities this season.
Priscilla is laughing with you ...
... now she's over it.
:-D
"I was very upset when Latoya London got voted off that year."
I was too. She was much better than Fannytazer. But my favorite from that season was Jennifer Hudson. She could outsing anyone "hands down."
He really should be fronting a rock band. He's got the right vocals for it and it just fits him better.
I don't like Fantasia either. Interestingly, two girls who lost to her that season may wind up with much more successful careers in the long run. Diana DeGarmo and Jennifer Hudson both have been given great roles, Diana on Broadway and Jennifer in a film.
Jennifer Hudson beat out Fantasia for a role in some movie with Beyonce. I liked Jennifer. She had an infectious smile.
G'evening, Netizen. Just got home from work about a half hour ago. The show is recording on my DVR now and I'll watch it in a little while.
It's a shame how Elvis ended up.
Hmmmm
Try to have FUN you two! Isn't that what this is all about?
did you see they're making a made-for-tv movie about Fantasia's life-- Lefetime I think... (she was the worst if the winners by far but that was a weak season)
Good point about Chris. I think he's learned alot. FWIW, I think Tommy Mottola gave them all some good advice this week.
It really will if he goes home before Katharine. But I do think it's amazing how far "plain-Jane" Elliott has gotten in this competition. Very well deserved, but who would have predicted it when the top 12 were first chosen? Chris, Taylor, Pickle and Katharine have been favorites from the get-go, but Elliott is the true dark horse of the competition.
No ma'am, you're not. You're not "fogies" either. Each one of you is a LADY, which is far more than I can say for one particular poster.
My husband and I noticed that about Paris last week. We watched Idol Extra. Yes, we're in our mid-thirties and we watch it proudly! Anyhow, during the interview portion the helium tone was gone. Hmmm, makes ya wonder?
I always felt that Paris was more fake than the Pickle. Pickler was the same, except more adorable, in her interviews following her exit from the show.
LOL!
I meant to ping you to my last post--you're a lady too :)
I can't stand her! I don't think I can handle an entire movie about her....blah!
