Chris is just too one dimensional. No there there with Chris.I agree with you OldFriend. Although I've warmed to Chris as a person over the season, as a singer he's very one dimensional. Angry rocker. That's it.

I know you don't get Rick aand Bubba, but they are going to have Taylor on after the season. THey are going to do the show in a parking lot and open it up to Soul Patrollers. Every Tue. is Taylor Tue and all the Soul Patrollers call in. They are from everywhere. One woman from Japan has called twice. So funny because you can't understand her. :) Any way Taylor had no idea about how big the Soul Patrol is. He was dumbfounded when Speedy called him to tell him about the outpouring of love for him. Rick and Bubba have had Ruben and Bo on before but I think I might try to go see Taylor.

His version of Suspicious Minds was pretty good tonight.

Of course it's going to sound like Karaoke, Simon--they're singing Elvis songs!ROFL!!! Exactly. In his boozier, drug hazed later career, even the King sounded Karaoke.

There has been a lot of comments about him having a great recording voice. I think he will be signed very quickly and have a great career whatever happens.
This is my problem with Taylor. He has a good voice, and he's entertaining to watch, but I don't think I'd buy his CD. He's just not much fun if you can't see him, in my opinion.
Elliot seems like a nice guy, but I've never connected with any of his song choices or performances. Neither has my husband. I find him to be boring.
Katherine has a great voice that she seems to have trouble controlling. Maybe it's just her nerves.

I know I might be in the minority here, but I just don't believe there's a conspiracy to have one particular person win over another.I don't think there's a conspiracy. In all the seasons so far, the judges have tended to favor one contestant over the others, but that actually seems less so this year. I do think they want a Katharine-Chris finale, though, but they don't seem to be trying to manipulate the votes as obviously as they did for, say, Fantasia.

I've been listening to a Taylor CD of six songs plus Georgia for the past couple of weeks and I really like 4 of the songs-- THe Fall and Son of a Carpenter are the best after Georgia. He has a great voice, it's seeing him that I don't like.
I can't imagine a Chris CD.

I still think this years "final four" is the best so far. Me too.

Wolfstar, I sincerely apologize for that other person's comments to you. No one deserves to be talked to like that, especially here. I'm sorry.Jonny, thre's no reason at all why you shoudl apologize. It's not your fault in any way. I'm familiar with her (assuming it really is a her) from political threads. Will discuss further in a private message.

I could not stand Fantasia! I was very upset when Latoya London got voted off that year.

Yikes, I totally forgot to call and vote (for Chris) (I never remember) but now I just did, and I can't believe there's a personalized response now.
*swoon*
That'll keep 'em dialin'.

I'll be shocked if McPhee survives this week.As I write this, I haven't seen the show yet. Just got home from work a short while ago. But judging from the comments on the thread tonight, it seems she may be the one to go home.

Well, I guess we each have our favorites. I don't like it when Chris only screeches though. He has a very sexy...Um I mean, pleasant tone to his voice when he sings slower songs. I absolutely loved "Have You Ever Loved a Woman" a couple of weeks ago.
